This is a very central 2 stars hotel. Extremely well connected with everything (5 min walk from the Luxemburg station, allowing easy connection with CDG airport in about 40 min), literally 100 meters from La Sorbonne, 10 min walk from Notre Dame etc. The price is ok: 89 euros per night (June 2012). I would not suggest buying the 12 euros breakfast, which is not worth the price. Basically you cannot make choices: you get served with 1 croissant, 1 white bread, a few types of jam, 1 orange juice and 1 warm drink (tea, coffee etc). Being Paris the amazing city it is, with plenty of cafe and patisserie you will find something to eat elsewhere.
I had a single room, very clean. Pics are attached. The view from my room was not really amazing (see the pic) also I felt like not opening the windows' courtains, as people from the building in front could potentially look inside my room.
The woman which looked like the main manager was extremely kind, helpful (provided many info during my stay) and spoke an excellent english. I cannot say the same of the waitresses, which basically do not speak a word of English (but that's not really surprising in France).
So all in all I had a pleasant stay, in a beautiful area in Paris at a reasonable price.More
