My mother and I went on a short break to Paris. I booked the hotel from a third party site not really knowing what to expect. Soft hotel was welcoming, cosy and central. Close to the gare d'nord and the gare d'est as well as the Canal st.Martin. The breakfast was simple but tasty. The hotel is small so you feel special and appreciated. A lovely stay.

The Hotel is 10 minute walk from Gare du nord. On a side street that seems to be a rat run for scooters, if you are on the first floor at the front you will hear these, along with people and dogs. Apart from that the Hotel itself is adequate, with very narrow hallways and plenty of fire doors.
The Wi Fi is quite honestly a joke. You have to have a separate code for every phone and then get a new one every day you stay. What is wrong with an open network in a Hotel? The week before I was in Tallin/Estonia and everywhere had open Wi Fi access.
Be careful with breakfast as when we booked in we were not told that we had not got breakfast included. We were told the times it was available but not that it would cost us more, or what it would cost. So a surprise bill when we booked out! Breakfast itself was basic and you needed to time your visit to perfection as they have to keep re stocking glasses, food, coffee etc as there is so little space. If the Hotel is full which I think it was, its a melee at Breakfast.
Apart from that I might possibly stay again.

Nice hotel with a great bed in a good location. 10 mins walk from Gare du nord where the airport train stops and 20 mins walk to Sacre Cour and Pompidou. Easy access to the metro to get to the Louvre or Arc de triumphe. The street itself is quiet and had an unbelievable amount of good restaurants on it - Fancy French, Spanish, Chinese, Fish and Chip shop - truly spoilt for choice. Also a nice little supermarket - Carre four, a lovely looking bakery with fancy cake plus a good take out pizza place.
Our room was not the biggest but had a king size bed, plasma TV, free safety deposit box and wifi and a decent hot shower. My only complaint was the heating was on all the time so we were too hot #21stcenturyproblems!
Standard continental breakfast and the staff were very smiley and obliging.

Visited Paris for 4 days and was based at Hotel Soft. Staff were wonderful, especially on an evening. Helpful and happy to write down directions, train numbers etc. The breakfast was typical French style and there was plenty, the lovely lady who kept the buffet topped up asked each money if you wanted bacon which she would cook for you. The rooms although small were clean and the beds comfortable and the rooms were very quiet, just what you need when you've spent the day marching around the sights of Paris. The hotel is in walking distance to a lot of attractions but for those not up to walking far, the metro/train station is a few minutes away. There are plenty of places to eat close to the hotel on nights you don't want to go far. I would recommend this hotel for anyone not needing more than a comfy, warm room and a base close to the attractions. I would happily stay here again should I return to Paris.

This hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and cozy. The staff is most helpful. They very accomadating. Despite the English being slightly poor, they tried their best. Especially Mr Ahmed he was very helpful and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. Anne helped out a lot when the front counter was vacant.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a place close to the metro in a great location.

Stayed here for 8 nights in February to attend a one week course at the makeup for ever academy which is next door. the location of this hotel was very convenient to my visit also to visit Paris attractions it's only 5 minutes walk from the Gard du Nord and Gard de L'est station and metro.
Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, speaking English and Arabic felt like home away from home! The rooms are small but just what you would expect for a pairs 3 stats hotels however it was very clean and had an air-conditioning if your visiting in the summer there is a free wifi everywhere, great value for money highly recommend.

Stayed here for two nights in February. Hotel is within 5min walk from Gard de L'est station and metro. Reception was very informative and helpful with planning travel routes around the metro and tips for best way to get to all the attractions. The rooms were small but this is expected of Parisian hotels. The hotel is open 24hrs so no need to worry about getting back into the hotel after a late evening. Would stay again
