We stayed at Hotel home 16 for 5 days and it was absolutely amazing. Our room had a better bathroom than any other hotel I've ever seen and I travel A LOT, it was quite a large room with an amazing view. The higher levels have a view of the EIFFEL Tower and the lower levels have a view of the French life and amazing buildings. You can walk to restaurants and corner stores as they are very close. I went with my husband and 2 children ages 11 and 14 and I really wanted to make sure we had a fantastic hotel and this was definitely the perfect choice. My husband can be picky but he really loved our stay at this hotel. The staff are great and the room was comfortable and a great size. This is definitely the hotel to stay at if you want to turely enjoy the French experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our two kids (11 & 14). This hotel was definately the right choice for anyone to experience their first visit to Paris. A twenty minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and the main attractions in central Paris were easily accessable by train. There was plenty of choices in shops and restaurants with a cute little bakery just around the corner for a coffee and fresh pastry to start your day. The staff (Laurence) were always helpful and very friendly. Would definately recommend this hotel.

Location is really good - walking distance to Eiffel tower; 2 blocks from Jasmin subway. the receptionist (Sophie) was very friendly and helpful. it is very spacious apartment - especially by Paris standards having stayed in several places around town on various trips. The kitchen is small but it has everything you need for a quick trip. Bathroom is very large. windows are large, allow nice breeze into the apartment

Room Tip: There is only a very small elevator which is only big enough for 1 person or 1 suitcase. be warned...

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights during August 2013. I was a little nervous about staying there after reading the other reviews about the surrounding construction but it turned out not to be a problem as we stayed over a weekend and didn't hear it at all. We stayed in the top floor apartment and it had everything we needed for a weekend stay in Paris. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't spend much time in the apartment (this is Paris, after all) but enjoyed coming home here after each full day of sightseeing. Our children especially loved watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle out their window as they were gong to bed each evening. Great location 5 min from the metro (Jasmin) which gets you everywhere you want to go.

Room Tip: Top floor family suite (2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen) works great for families with a bonus v...

We have just returned from a weeks stay at hotel home, the location is perfect, outside the tourist area in a lovely part of Paris, there are shops bakeries and restaurants nearby and the appts have everything you need.Sophie is so amazing, nothing is too much trouble for her,she gave us needles and thread, adaptors, printed tickets for us,allowed us to do laundry and gave us detailed directions for anywhere we wanted to go.. The only reason I didnt give this 5 was because of the building work next door,at 7am on the dot the machines start up,also our wardrobe doors were broken and we worried they might fall on us,the toilet seat kept falling off too but even with all this we would return

We stayed here for 5 nights based on comments from other Trip Advisor members and were not disappointed. Since it was August, there were many stores that were simply closed, but this was expected. We stayed in 2 apartments (there were 6 of us) on the second floor. The walk was 30 minutes to the Eiffel Tower, under 5 minutes to the Jasmin stop, and under 15 minutes to the Michel Ange Molitor (2nd Michel Ange stop), which goes to Versailles (Javel stop to get on the RER C). Rooms were spacious, but were very different...one had a view of the courtyard and a shower, while the other had a view of Rue George Sand and a bathtub. When we opened the 8 foot windows, we felt like real Parisians!!! We pretty much had everything we needed, but if you are getting just one room make sure you let Sophie know that you prefer a shower or bathtub so that you are not unpleasantly surprised. Sophie was most helpful and was kind enough to arrange for a taxi to take us to the airport...she also had many tips for us as far as the area was concerned. A gem of a person.
General Paris tips: Don't miss Versailles or Normandy. Trains are very efficient in Paris and we booked a 1/2 day afternoon tour in Normandy that was incredible. Walking through the bunkers was a humbling experience. Tour guide was excellent. Versailles has huge lines....that you don't need to deal with. Get a Passport ticket (like 20 euros) and go to the gardens first...you can spend hours there and there are other smaller palaces to visit...we ended up renting bikes for 2 hours...go to the main palace after 3:30 (you will have plenty of time to go through the palace) and the 1 1/2 hour long wait you saw in the AM will have completely vanished...you just walk right in!!!
