On our way to Disneyland we decided to take advantage of being in Paris and have a 1 night stop over and sight seeing in Paris before heading to see Mickey Mouse. As well as getting to see more of Paris than just Disney, this also reduced the cost of our trip as Eurostar to Paris one way and Disney to London the other way was much cheaper than a return and package deal to disneyland!!

On arrival at Paris Gard du Nord we managed to find Le Robinet d'Or with great ease. It's walking distance (about 10-15 mins). The decor is modern and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We arrived many hours before our room was ready but the reception staff put our bags/suitcases aside for us and took them on up to the room when it was ready. We were on the top floor and there is no lift but the room was totally worth the trek!!

We had our day out sight seeing and got back to the hotel in good time for dinner. When we got our room we were in awe of the decor.. Extremely modern with a traditional/continental twist. We had our 3.5 year old son with us who had the benefit of double sofa bed. The bathroom and toilet were immaculate and our double bed was extremely comfortable. Despite being in a relatively central/urban location, the noise level was fine, no disturbances at all.

Dinner time arrived and our little one had fallen asleep so we decided to take advantage of the room service. It was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had (perfectly cooked steak) and the service was fantastic. Overall I would say that this hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed in.. There is a definite sense of pride from the staff who work here and the hotel decor is just lovely. I would stay here again and again.

A very very lovely hotel :)

I can not recommend more the hotel - they live up to every positive review written and the rooms are exactly as in pictures!

I stayed at the hotel's Family Suite with my parents for four nights - we had plenty of room, the shower is great, wooden floors great as I'm slightly allergic. Location of the hotel is not center, but metro connections are excellent and the canal nearby great for nice walks! In my opinion to stay right at the center of Paris is like living in Times Square in NYC - you really don't get to experience the wonderful city outside of major tourist attractions. So this was perfect solution for us! :)

Hotel staff is amazing and extremely helpful, couldn't thank them enough! They booked us tables, helped with travel arrangements and were always super attentive to all our needs. :) All and all, this made our stay perfect. Will absolutely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to all my friends. :)

Dear TinasFi,
Thank you very much for this excellent comment. Here we love family, and we have a lot of facilities to provide you a warm stay. Few days ago we bought a lot of society games, to party all night in Suites. Thank you again for your stay, we hope to see you again.
Best regards from Restaurant & Reception Team, Caroline, Ludovic & Damien.

Nice boutique hotel, good beds, good location. Situated close to Canal St. Martin, an area which seems to be over its initial hype. The restaurant/bar bar attached to the hotel is very relaxed, quite popular and not too expensive. Relatively good quality food.
Close to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord.
Rooms are small though and prices are definitely too high.

Dear Pascal,
We are very pleased to hear a excellent comment about your stay.

You said the stay was to expensive. However you booked it throught the internet travel agency named Expedia/Hotel.com. Their commission is 22%. Of course we are loosing a big part of the amount, but You are paying more as well. If you go in our website, there is everyday some very large discounts, because no commission fees.

All the team and myself wish you an excellent day, and are eager to welcome you another time.

I don't normally write a review but on this occasion and now knowing how much Trip Advisor helps business' these days I felt I really should. Firstly the staff were fantastic from start to finish. Upon our arrival we were informed we had been upgraded (good start!), we were allowed to leave our bags as we had arrived early and headed out into Paris. Upon our return our bags were in the room which was a suite next door to the main block. It was lovely, some great macaroons had been left and some fresh fruit. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were modern and clean. Perfect. The following morning we were told essential maintenance was required so we were asked if would be happy to move rooms again. We agreed and as recompense we were offered some free champagne in the restaurant later that day. The second room was a superior dbl and was again perfect.

The location of the hotel is great, with a short walk to the Metro (5/10mins)

Overall a fabulous stay and will be returning again upon our next Parisian visit.

Thank you to the staff once again for being fantastic.

Room Tip: Go for the Superior as it has a bath! :-)

We chose this hotel for it's reasonable price and great reviews - and couldn't have been happier. We stayed here during the first leg of our honeymoon, and the cozy room with a view of the canal was perfect. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was amazing and the staff friendly. It was a little out of the way neighborhood-wise, but that didn't matter to us, as you were a short metro-ride or walk into the busier parts of the city. We would definitely stay again - and hope to return soon!

This weekend in Paris was a wonderful one. The hotel is only a short walk from Gare de Nord so is easy for us. Friendly staff that will help you with your bags if you need it. Clean room with comfortable bathroom. Breakfast is very good for Paris as they usually don't go in for much, just good coffee. Great value would stay again.
