We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was very nice. Our room was comfortable and surprisingly large! There was plenty of room for suitcases and even a good sized closet. The breakfast was very nice as well and there is a pleasant seating area in the lobby.

The immediate location of this hotel is quite touristy, with cheap souvenir shops and a loud, party-like atmosphere at night. I was glad our hotel room was to the rear of the building. However, the general location was excellent. It's a quick 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Saint-Michel Metro and RER station. Hotel du Levant serves as a great base for exploring Paris. We highly recommend it.

Dear Sir or Madam ,

Thank you for your nice review.

Just like many of our guests , you enjoyed our location . It is indeed a very convenient place to be as you can get straight and easy access to tourist sites such as Notre Dame , the Louvre Musem, the Orsay Museum, the Pompidou Centre within walking distance ,but also the Luxembourg garden or the Sorbonne.

Very easy access to public transport as well ( metro line 4 St Michel ) or RER B St Michel Notre Dame, from where you can reach directly Charles de Gaulle airport.

Besides , there are many restaurants , grocery stores and supermarkets you can choose from according to your budget .

Every room in our hotel is different .So many people think our rooms are rather small, but we make sure they are clean , comfortable and functional for our guests . But we are happy your room met all your expectations .

A quiet room is definitely your best bet if you want keep away from the noisy and bustling street atmosphere . Particularly on week ends .

Hoping to see you again if you plan another trip to Paris .

Best regards

Hotel is in a great location on a pedestrian only street with lots of cafés and shops. It's very close to Pl St Michel, the Metro and all the sights on the Ile de la Cite. Our room window opened up onto a courtyard with other apartment buildings and it really gave us a feeling of .
'Living' in Paris. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as the room was already pretty pricey and we like to get something from a small market (right down the street) and a patisserie for breakfast. There was a little alcove for the third bed which made it more private but the downside was that the a/c didn't really reach around the corner and it got very hot there while sleeping. The staff was very helpful and arranged for a shuttle for us to take to CDG (for a fee). Would stay there again as long as the rates don't get any higher!

Room Tip: Pedestrian street outside is a bit of a 'party' -maybe because of the World Cup - but I think I would always want a room on the back, rather than on the street.

It is indeed a very convenient place to be as you can get straight and easy access to tourist sites such as Notre Dame , the Louvre Musem, the Orsay Museum, the Pompidou Centre within walking distance ,but also the Luxembourg garden or the Sorbonne.

The street is actually semi pedestrian .When we call a taxi or a shuttle bus , they can stop to pick up the guests .

We are happy to hear you you enjoyed staying in your quiet room .Besides , we are sorry the air conditionned did not meet completely your expectations.

Please note our room rates include breakfast as well as it is mentionned on our brochure and our
website .Regarding our breakfast , the bread and the croisants are freshly baked by a professional baker in our area.

The cheese and the butter are a home made production by a farmer .

The buffet is self service , you can help yourself as much as you like , and a waitress is always ready to help you whenever you need it .

Compared with other hôtels in our area, we remain quite cheap .We have not been changing our rates for a long time ..

We will be happy to see you again if you plan another trip to Paris.

Best regards.

This was my first visit to Paris in 10 years following a disappointing experience but I wasn't disappointed this time! 2 minutes on foot from the RER station direct to CDG airport, minutes from Notre Dame, the Seine etc. and in the heart of the Left Bank. The room was small and the bathroom positively bijou but all was spotlessly clean, the air-conditioning efficient and the tea tray very welcome! And it was lovely to have a huge choice of restaurants within strolling distance of the hotel. Cheerful, helpful staff helped make this a great choice!

Hotel Du Levant is very well loccated, in Quartier Latin, very close to important attractions, like Notre Dame Cathedral, Saint Chapelle, Seine river. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. The breakfast is simple but good.

Quality rather than quantity , and of course taste. That's what we feel important for breakfast.

I have stayed here a couple of times now, mainly because it was convenient to what I wanted to do. It is getting a little pricey however! Staff are very helpful and recent renovations are an improvement to the lobby area.
