Description: It opened in January this year at the location of the former Kiwi Corner restaurant. It has been rated on thefork.com website at 8.2/10. We've eaten there and found the restaurant to feature classic French cooking, extremely well prepared in a small congenial restaurant across from the Luxembourg Gardens. We sampled the dishes and found all of them very good to excellent. Nice choice of reasonably priced wines too. I particularly liked the Grand Marnier Souffle. The best part is the very reasonable prices which are shown on the thefork.com website.

A petit family run restaurant located in a nice area. Three course set dinner offered to tourists ( I saw local French ordered ala carte only). The lobster Soufflés soup was very attractive on the menu but it's too foamy and buttery for my taste. My main course " honey duck breast " was a bit too sweet. However , the dessert Soufflés was excellent. Do not expect much service at all. Over all, I would not recommend this restaurant .. MY from Hong Kong

A very small and intimate restaurant with the best souffles I had since my mother used to prepare them many years ago. The Chef is extremely friendly and everything on the menu is perfect

This restaurant seems to specialise in soufflés. We had lunch here and being three of us, we sampled their cheese soufflé, salmon soufflé and grand marnier soufflé. They were all very good. The restaurant is rustic - wooden chairs and tables, small and intimate. The food and service gives the impression of a husband and wife team, with one working in the kitchen and the other serving. The menu is limited and home cooked. Inexpensive and good for a casual lunch or dinner.

Before you die, you must have a souffle at La Cuisine de Philippe! The atmosphere is fantastic and the chef is most gracious, making it a point to visit every table to greet his guests, such an elegant touch! If you enjoy chocolate, do not miss the chocolate souffle! Thought I died and went to heaven!
