“Good hotel, good location.”
Reviewed 18 September 2013

This is good hotel, well situated in the Saint Germain district of Paris. The only things to be aware of when staying here is that the lift is tiny, I mean really tiny. I am a 16 stone rugby player and can only stand sideways in the lift, and barely have room for a small suitcase let alone anything else.

The rooms are clean and well equipped with good beds, and decent pillows and I have always had a decent nights sleep. Recommended, just be aware of the lifts!

Nice location on a relatively quiet street. Booked a triple and recieved a very spacious 6th floor room with a balcony. Beautifully appointed bathroom. Friendly staff called for our taxi the night before and it arrive exactly on time. Breakfast was a little pricey but fresh croissants and very good coffee. Clean, charming, good location (very near St Sulpice), reasonable cost. Would stay here again. Only two con - worlds smallest elevator (two people max and you cannot turn around), but it worked flawlessly to the 6th floor everytime!; Paris was very hot and the AC was working but really beyond its capacity (but it did work).

We stayed at the Hotel Atlantis for a couple of nights and enjoyed it very much! Check-in went smoothly and the hotel staff was helpful e.g. they helped us to book a Bateau Mouche croisiere. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel elevator is the smallest I have ever seen. The location is perfect because there is a metro station (St Sulpice) and multiple cafes right next to the hotel. I definitely would stay again at the Hotel Atlantis!

Have stayed in the Atlantis on numerous occasions when visiting Paris. Location is great with everything close. The rooms are larger than a lot of Parisian Hotels at this price level. The only downside is the smallest hotel lift I have ever seen. Overall though a super package.

Everything is small! The room was very small, with a small bed and a small bathroom (and the smallest elevator I’ve ever seen in my life!). But, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location was fantastic: our room had view of Place Sulpice and Rue de Rennes. All in all a nice experience. Thanks to the owners.

The hotel is small. The size of the lift has been mentioned before so I'll not elaborate on that - I take the stairs anyway :-). The rooms are also very small with a small bed, small bathroom with small bath. Very quaint and funny place which is spotlessly clean. There is free internet in the rooms! The staff are very helpful and efficient. The best part about this hotel is it's location! Right off the Place Sulpice and the Rue de Rennes. Behind the church you'll find 2 great English book stores (2nd hand) with good finds! There are also several wine bars and good restaurants. Our favourite place to go to at night is the Rue Saint Benoit (just across the Boulevard Saint Germain) where the Jazz Club Chez Papa (10euro cover charge but worth it) is right next to the great restaurant Au Pied de Fouet. The restaurant is tiny and you sit REALLY close to each other which gives the place a great atmosphere. Don't go here if you're claustrophobic though. There's also a couple of restaurants in the nearby Rue Monsieur le Prince, such as Polidor and Racine, but I found them to be too touristy. Au Pere Louis further down in the same street, is much more authentic and caters for a younger crowd. All these places are within 5mins walking from the hotel. For the best bistrot in Paris, check out Chez Janou.
