It is always a pleasure to stay here and we always choose a good-value, small, quiet room overlooking the courtyard. Last night the spotless space again met our needs. The double bed was very comfortable; the large wardrobe accommodated our belongings; the refrigerator kept our drinks cold; and good lighting made it easy to read. This room's bathroom has a tub with a handheld shower, which may present a challenge to those who have not used one before, but we have used this setup in many hotels throughout the years.

The tiny elevator always makes us smile. It is certainly not the smallest we have encountered in Paris, but it cannot hold two people with their luggage. Reception staff always stands ready to send the luggage up after the guests ascend and are generally quite helpful.

We never eat breakfast here so I cannot comment on what is offered or the price. Actually we never eat breakfast at any hotel. We find it much better value to eat outside. There are myriad choices for places to eat any meal nearby. The location is excellent .. on many bus lines and a block from Metro line 4, which connects with the RER B to CDG at St. Michel. The hotel sits almost in the shadow of St. Sulpice and is nearby to many places that interest tourists, such as the Luxembourg Gardens. And if you're looking for macarons, Hermes is right around the corner.

Incompetent front desk staff. Overpriced breakfast. Teeny elevator that fits one person and one bag. Rickety furniture in our room. Our seventh visit to Paris and this hotel was the worse. Location is good and close St Germain de Pres.

This charming hotel is perfectly located to visit the highlights of Paris. We had a nice, clean, room with a big bathtub (which we enjoyed with a bottle of champagne procured at a nearby bottle shop), and french door-style windows that opened onto a courtyard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The elevator is tiny (just fitting my husband and I, who weigh less than 300lbs, combined), so the manager sent our luggage up after us. We are used to european hotels with no elevator and a room on the 5th floor, so it didn't really matter to us, but it might be a problem for some. All and all, a gem! We will definitely stay here again.
