“Comfortable B&B with great location”
Reviewed 6 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We prefer to stay in B&B places to get the local cultural input from the hosts and we were not disappointed. Very comfortable, delicious French breakfasts each morning, and lots of helpful information of where to go, what to do and where to eat. Walked everywhere but also used the metro. Nice at the end of the day to come "home" to the nice quiet balcony but still be in the middle of Paris. When we left Paris there was a national taxi strike so Rosemary found the most convenient alternatives available to us. Thanks for a great stay.

Dear Kerrin and Michael,
Thank you so much for the lovely review of 'your home in Paris'. Can't believe that practically our last conversation was about yogurt making, I will be contacting you about your recipes because my machine is temperamental! You are both going on my Colour Newsletter mailing list and I hope you are 'warming' up your wardrobe and weening out the black as we speak!

“Great location”
Reviewed 24 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

A fantastic place to stay if wanting to be close to the centre of Paris.
Rosemary was very helpful in answering questions or suggesting places to eat at or at directing you to places to see. Breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh bread/crossaints/pastries, tea and coffee set the day of well with a great view of the balcony.
Very close to transport as well as being able to walk to a variety of cafes/restaurants scattered around the area.
The apartment is tucked away and feels like you are miles from civilisation but once you open the large burgundy doors you are straight into the hustle of the city.
A wonderful place to stay at if wanting to be close to everything but have some tranquility as well.

Dear Kim,
We both have to thank your 'Uncle Vic and Auntie Di'! If they hadn't stayed last year and recommended me we wouldn't have met! So glad you loved the breakfasts and the apartment and even though Australia is a long way away I do hope to see you again sometime.

“A delightful stay with a warm and gracious Hostess”

We arrived in Paris on a cold day (for us Florida folks) at 7pm after a long 48 hours of travel. Rosemary met us at her door and it was immediately apparent we had found a second home. She bustled us around, helped us find a place to fill the empty voids in our bellies, and all but tucked us into bed. The next morning we had the first of 7 wonderful breakfasts with fresh croissants, brioche, and baguettes. We learned about tea and were advised on our sightseeing plans. We were off on the only non-rainy day of sightseeing we were to have. Each day Rosemary would fill our tummies and send us off and in the evening be interested in our escapades. When we needed something she reached into her "Mary Poppins Bag" and filled our needs, be it a sewing kit or a 240V to 120V transformer. Good luck finding one of those in France. I looked everywhere for one. Nothing, Nada, no where. But Rosemary had one. I was invited to accompany her to the boulangerie each morning to learn about picking out her morning croissants and brioche. She taught us the difference between good ones and bad and where to buy them. All in all her kindness and warm hospitality allowed us to enjoy Paris despite our colds and the miserable rainy cold weather.

Dear Bob and Barbara,
Thank you so much for your lovely review sent after your amazingly long trip. It was a pleasure to take you to the boulangerie and spend breakfasts chatting about your plans for the day. However next time you are not coming unless you bring better weather with you, normally my Mary Poppins' superpowers extends to the weather too but you beat me! And I am looking forward to receiving the photos of your garden.

Liked best: Our host was wonderful - her hospitality and advice helped make our stay wonderful.
Liked least: While we had a shower and sink off of our bedroom, our toilet was in a separate room outside the bedroom (but still in the apartment) - a minor inconvenience.

“The ideal Paris setting”
Reviewed 16 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

52 Clichy is ideally situated for a stay in the wonderful city of Paris. Close access to the easy to use Metro system and within walking distance of many excellent restaurants and bistros. The Moulin Rouge and the historic area of Montmartre are just a stones throw away.
The high standard of the b&b is very apparent as you step through the main doors off the street into the court yard area. Rosemary, the owner, is a wealth of knowledge in all things Parisian and her tips and advice helped to make our stay smooth and effortless. Each morning she would greet us on the balcony where the most delicious breakfast was served overlooking the tranquil rooftops and surrounding gardens.
We will be returning to Paris one day and we will be staying at 52 Clichy
Thank you Rosemary.

“Best place to stay in Paris”
Reviewed 1 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

If you are visiting Paris whether it be the first, second or umpteenth time this is the place to stay. This was my second visit and Hayley's first I had a fairly good knowledge of where to go and what to do on our 5 day trip, but after speaking to Rosemary I realised I didn't know as much as I thought. She told us about great ways to move about Paris and the easiest route to all our destinations, told us hidden places to eat at and all of them were amazing, she told us so much about the French and Parisian culture which none of us had any idea about and she made us feel truly at home. The whole area including the amazing balcony in which you can have your brilliant breakfast on every morning if you choose; that breakfast by the way can make anyone love breakfast even someone who doesn't eat it at home. It is very easy to almost miss breakfast however because the beds are just so comfy as soon as you head hits the pillow you will be gone, so anyone suffering from troubled sleep or have trouble sleeping you need this bed.
If you want a lovely trip to a beautiful city, to stay in an amazing place and feel at home with great food and great company then visit here. Anyone that I know who want to go to Paris I will definitely recommend staying here and anyone reading this review should take this as a recommendation to you this is the place to be.
A little last note of thanks to Rosemary herself, We would both like to say thank you for making our little trip to Paris the best it could be you have converted Hayley to a breakfast lover as long as it is fresh fruit and lovely pastries, no holiday will be the same as this one.
If there was a higher option then great to pick for rating everything I would select that.
