This hotel has many pros and cons it just depends on what kind of traveler you are and what you think you are getting vs what you get. First off I believe it is not worth the money you pay for it especially during the high season. The room is small small small. The bath room is even smaller. So small that to use the toilet you have to sit sideways on it. That is something I think should be fixed immediately and a palls me that France would let you sell a hotel in that condition. The mold in the bathroom was quite disturbing as well as it was a large amount on the wall and around the bottom of the shower.
The worst part was the noise level in the rooms facing the street. There is no fan so when is hot you must sleep with the window open and sleep like you are on the freeway all night. All of this after you have toured paris all day and come back to your hotel that has no elevator and only some very very steep steps.
That being said there are some pros to this hotel. The staff was very very friendly and nice.there is a grocer and pharmacies all around along with restaurants and a big grocery store. There are two metro stops one across the street and another within a short walking distance. The street seems shady but actually I believe was quite safe. Even with all the negatives eventually the hotel began to seem like home.
I will not be staying here again if I visit paris.
