Be prepared for small rooms but the beds were very comfortable and it was very clean and tidy. The Staff was just lovely and friendly, Arthur the Manager was very keen to listen and help. Everyone spoke English. We stayed for 4 nights and that was long enough as it could get quite cramped as there were 3 ppl in our room. It is not accessible so you must have strong legs to walk up curving staircase, as there is an 1-person cupboard like elevator. The location is great as it is right next to the Sacre Coeur and the Montmartre area. I didn't feel unsafe with common sense type precautions you would use travelling anywhere. Late nights take the metro back: Chateau Rouge is very amenable. Lots of places to eat in the neighbourhood and easy transport options to the rest of Paris. Easy to get here from airport, it is near the peripherique and we came by RER to Gare du Nord and then metro. There was Wifi but it was slightly unreliable, we found by clicking in and out of it, it would work again after fading out. If you are from the EU I recommend just getting data roaming nowadays to get 3G, that was very good. We had a very enjoyable stay.
