This was my first splurge into the realm of trip advisor and it was money well spent! Wine and cheese picnic in front of the Eiffel tower, watching the lights of France bounce off the seine, and having a guide who didn't just know hard facts, but stories to make Paris come alive. An absolutely amazing experience. I would do this again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Martin, for making my trip to Paris an enjoyable and memorable one where the streets really do feel like your own :-)

Can't say enough good things about our half day tour with Martin. Met us at our hotel in the 7th and we walked for hours with the teenagers in tow, who loved it equally as much. Ended our tour eating hotdogs and Bloody Mary's at Harry's bar. Fantastic time - highly recommend

Thanks Martin for a super afternoon. Exhausted but well worth the euros spent. Even after all the time I spent in Paris, there is much to learn! Our boys aged 8 and 13 found it "very cool" and kept going until they reached "the best ice-cream ever!" Grateful to have found such a passionate soul in Paris!

My wife and I had a magical honeymoon in Paris and the Night Tour with Martin was definitely one of the most memorable highlights. We had the man himself as our guide as we were joined by a lovely couple from Australia - so instead of a big tour group it felt like a town crawl amongst friends.

The tour started with a night picnic of various cheeses, breads, dessert and a couple bottle of Cab Franc in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Pure happiness.

But rest up - you'll need the energy to take the information-packed jaunt around the gorgeous City of Lights. Martin is filled with numerous stories and facts about all facets of Paris - from the food, the architecture, history, fashion - you name it. (As a wine lover he led me to this most amazing Champagne shop which featured photos of the faces and hands of the winemakers.)

This is not your cookie-cutter, see-the-sights sort of walk. This is a kinetic, roving love-letter to a city from a passionate native - you'll love and appreciate Paris even more.

- Book early. I tried reserving a month out and couldn't get a night tour for our first night. Thankfully Martin had room on the 3rd night of our 7 day visit so we were able to use all the incredible information the remainder of the trip.
- Go casual. Martin looked like he was ready to play soccer, so dress for comfort, especially your footwear.
- No need to bring water - Martin has that covered. You'll also not want to drink too much liquids to cut down on restroom breaks.
- For you couples out there - Bring a lock. You'll be passing by the famous bridge: Pont de l'Archevêché where the bridge rails are overrun by locks left by lovers professing devotion. You'll find shady vendors selling locks at high prices.
- Keep those Paris questions coming. Whether you get to them on the tour or better yet afterwards, Martin is available to contact during the rest of your stay as he offered great recommendations that we would've otherwise missed.
