“Fantastic quirky/modern hotel”
Reviewed 24 September 2013

Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend between Christmas and New Years Eve and absolutely loved it. Staff were very friendly and helpful with providing information on site seeing etc.

Our room was clean, modern with a bed that was a good size and comfy – only slight criticism was with the size of the room, a little bit small for my liking but not so small that it ruined our stay. Our room in particular had a balcony looking out to the street which provided pleasant views so in the summer that would be a bonus.

Location was about 5-10 minute walk to the Norte Dame which was convenient. From here you can access the sightseeing bus that’ll take you to all the other places in Paris.

Breakfast at 16 Euros per person was good value considering we were in Paris. Good choice of hot and cold food, cereals, the usual really (buffet style). It’s also worthwhile pointing out that Paris isn’t onboard with the gluten free diet. A restaurant called Noglu was the only place in Paris that could cater for my girlfriend.

To conclude weighing up everything – I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Good location for access to this part of the city. Short walk to Notre Dame. Had some difficulty finding the front door as it was the type that you stand in front of and an electric eye senses your presence and opens the door. Door looked much like rest of building front. But once we located it, it was easy to find the rest of the time. Maybe had somthing to do with jet lag!

Stayed here 2 nights on recent trip to France. Front desk staff were friendly and spoke good English. We were on 6th floor (top floor), room 262 which overlooked the street (just what we had asked for) so had a good view of the street scene. There is an elevator and a set of stairs – 111 stairs to 6th floor! We referred to our room as a 3-room suite as toilet was in a separate rather small room from the rest of the bathroom. Overall space was rather small, which of course is quite typical of Paris and for 2 people we found it challenging at times to move around at the same time. But not impossible. Room had a very small balcony that you can actually stand out on to look both ways up the street. Room was clean, good size large screen TV, comfortable bed. A number of restaurants in the same block. Would recommend this place.

When we arrived, it was pouring rain and too early for check in. Fortunately, a room was available and we were upgraded from a suite to a deluxe suite which meant that we had both a shower and a bathtub. The only downside to our room was the lack of natural light which led to us referring to it as the cave. Other rooms may have more light. The staff are extremely friendly, the hotel is very clean and the location is great. Highly recommend Il Pescatore across the road. We would stay here again without question.

Loved our stay here! We stayed for a total of 5 days and had a very pleasant stay! The location was great and close walking distance to a lot of locations. (only about 10 min from Notre Dame). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris and would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: We had a room that overlooked the courtyard, it was quiet and not too bright. We were on the third...

Really nice looking lobby and well decorated rooms. Very trendy with cool photography everywhere. Room was small but bearable, bathroom was big enough and the shower was really good and powerful. The toilet was in a separate room to the bathroom.
The service was a little stand offish but I think this is just the French way. Within walking distance to the bars and restaurants of the Latin Quarter and Notre Dame. Some really nice creperies and jazz bars in the area.
Would stay at the hotel again definitely.

This was our second stay here in the course of a year, and the staff went above and beyond to thank us for our loyalty. It was our anniversary trip and eventhough we had only booked a standard room (high prices due to high summer season), the staff upgraded us to a huge two-story suite the first night because it was open/available and to thank us for coming back to the hotel. It was a very pleasant surprise and made us like the hotel even more. We loved the location in St. Germain/Latin Quarter border, and it's proximity to Notre Dame Cathedral, a subway stop, the Marais district, and cute restaurants and shops all around the neighborhood. There is a small convenience store across he street and down the street from the hotel in case you want to buy any drinks or snacks. Wonderful stay in the beautiful city of light!

The hotel has everything you need for a holiday in Paris, its within easy walking distance to everything, plenty of fine restaurants are nearby.
The staff all speak good english and we found them all an absolute pleasure to communicate with. A credit to their hotel.
We were a little surprised how small the rooms were but once you adjust its Ok. All rooms are very clean and comfortable.
If we were to stay in Paris again we would recommend the hotel without fail.

Room Tip: Book a room at the front looking onto the street
