Convenient location in decent neighborhood. Rooms were very modernly furnished and decorated and clean but very small, although not untypical for Europe. We were in the "Ferie" room, decorated like the moulin rouge. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately our thermostat did not work and front desk was no help in getting it repaired. Bathroom was divided into shower/sink area which was nice and a separate room for the toilet which was tiny but effective (yet not for the claustrophobic). We bought croissants to eat and had them in the lobby but were asked to not eat outside food in the lobby, yet the rooms were not really set up to eat in. That was a little odd. There's a great open air market a block away with delicious pastry, cheese, meat, fruits and many other things available.

Dear Guest,
We thank you for taking the time to write a review.
We are delighted that you enjoyed the hotel as well as your room.
You mention a thermostat problem for which the reception staff couldn't do anything.
This is a misunderstanding. Indeed, during your stay the temperature in Paris ranged from 10°C to 14 °C at night, so we turned the heating on. However, our A/C-heater system works like this: when the heating is on, the air conditioning may not work (and vice-versa).
This is why they were not able to help you to get the air-conditioning and why you were told to turn off the heating control. I apologize if the explanations that you were given were not clear enough.
We serve a daily breakfast at the hotel , our guests are, of course, free to take it in the breakfast room, in their room or outside the hotel if they prefer.
But for the comfort of all our guests, our lobby cannot be changed into a picnic area.
As a discerning guest, I’m sure you understand our point of view and I'm sorry if you have been offended by this remark.
I remain at your disposal
Yours Sincerely
Christelle Boin - Manager

This hotel was expensive (averaged 350 euros per night ) but was a great location. On the left bank, just minutes away from the Sorbonne University, Luxembourg gardens, metro stops etc. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and would have been more spacious had the bed not been so huge it took up all the space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurants and cafes and boulangeries there were aplenty all around us so we did not have to rely on the hotel for breakfast, which was a little pricey considering the little bakery served the same food for one third of the price. Not so many people as on the right bank which I liked as I hate having to shuffle along when it is so crowded you cannot move.
All the sights we could possibly want to see were all walkable (we like walking) but close to metro and bus services as well for those who cannot or don't wish to walk.
The one thing we did not like about the room was that it had no window looking onto the outside but we did not spend much time there anyway so no big deal.
Almost missed the entrance but by chance the electric eye sensor did it's magic when I happened to be looking around for the way into the hotel.

Room Tip: Only saw our room #307 so cannot offer any advice .

This hotel is good. The room was fine, the location fine. The service was efficient but cold. Can't complain but after receiving such great service in Rome and on the Amalfi Coast I just can't warm up to this stay. Small room but probably average for Paris. Expensive breakfast.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend between Christmas and New Years Eve and absolutely loved it. Staff were very friendly and helpful with providing information on site seeing etc.

Our room was clean, modern with a bed that was a good size and comfy – only slight criticism was with the size of the room, a little bit small for my liking but not so small that it ruined our stay. Our room in particular had a balcony looking out to the street which provided pleasant views so in the summer that would be a bonus.

Location was about 5-10 minute walk to the Norte Dame which was convenient. From here you can access the sightseeing bus that’ll take you to all the other places in Paris.

Breakfast at 16 Euros per person was good value considering we were in Paris. Good choice of hot and cold food, cereals, the usual really (buffet style). It’s also worthwhile pointing out that Paris isn’t onboard with the gluten free diet. A restaurant called Noglu was the only place in Paris that could cater for my girlfriend.

To conclude weighing up everything – I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Good location for access to this part of the city. Short walk to Notre Dame. Had some difficulty finding the front door as it was the type that you stand in front of and an electric eye senses your presence and opens the door. Door looked much like rest of building front. But once we located it, it was easy to find the rest of the time. Maybe had somthing to do with jet lag!

Stayed here 2 nights on recent trip to France. Front desk staff were friendly and spoke good English. We were on 6th floor (top floor), room 262 which overlooked the street (just what we had asked for) so had a good view of the street scene. There is an elevator and a set of stairs – 111 stairs to 6th floor! We referred to our room as a 3-room suite as toilet was in a separate rather small room from the rest of the bathroom. Overall space was rather small, which of course is quite typical of Paris and for 2 people we found it challenging at times to move around at the same time. But not impossible. Room had a very small balcony that you can actually stand out on to look both ways up the street. Room was clean, good size large screen TV, comfortable bed. A number of restaurants in the same block. Would recommend this place.

When we arrived, it was pouring rain and too early for check in. Fortunately, a room was available and we were upgraded from a suite to a deluxe suite which meant that we had both a shower and a bathtub. The only downside to our room was the lack of natural light which led to us referring to it as the cave. Other rooms may have more light. The staff are extremely friendly, the hotel is very clean and the location is great. Highly recommend Il Pescatore across the road. We would stay here again without question.

Loved our stay here! We stayed for a total of 5 days and had a very pleasant stay! The location was great and close walking distance to a lot of locations. (only about 10 min from Notre Dame). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris and would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: We had a room that overlooked the courtyard, it was quiet and not too bright. We were on the third...
