A small restaurant offering great taste and hospitality. The host is helpful on wine choice and overall advice. One of our best food experiences in Paris so far.

Just a great find. First off, you have to love the prorietor/chef. He cares about everything- ingredients, technique, presentation and overall front of house experience. WORLD CLASS. You can't ask for more thant someone who truly cares top to bottom to make your dinner fantastic.

I went back a second time on a short trip-- new menu items everyday. like other reviewers, the Salmon is "mind-blowing" perfectly cooked, high quality with a surprise safron butter fantastic sauce.

The onion pie, from an original alsace recipe is the perfrect appetizer-- unless of course you have the escargot, or the fish soup. Fish soup is underselling-- is is a delicious cream base with the freshest seafood-- scallaops escargot, clams maybe? just fantstique.

I also had the coq au vin, which was a unique recipe but delicious. Not a ton of broth like some, this almost taste like ribs-- but was really good.

Salt caramel cremebrule is totally worth the calories as well.

Finally, I need to mention his ability to pair wines with the plate. that is a gift. And the wines are great, bur surprisingly inexepenisve-- proving the the price tag doesn't determine the quality of the wine if you know what youre doing.

Bravo. Can't wait to return.

I had read the other reviews and decided to try this on our first night in Paris since we were arriving late and staying at the Marriott nearby. From start to finish this was a tremendous meal. Warm, welcoming and attentive was the owner. We had scallops and foie gras appetizers, vol-au-vent, coq au vin, lamb shank and pork steak entrees and crepe brûlée dessert and it was all very, very good. Wines were paired to match. We are a family with kids 15, 13 & 9 who had never eaten true French food, and they loved it. Even if you are staying somewhere else, would recommend visiting.

Thierry makes you feel like family. The menu is short yet simply delicious. Whether you have the scallops, lamb, tuna, escargots, there are no bad choices. All is fabntastic. We are here five times in 10 days in Paris. The wine is paired for you and always to your liking. Thierry knows how to pair his wines. A little gem in a quite French neighbourhood. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

To say we had a wonderful meal would be a woeful understatement. We arrived on our first night in Paris (25th May) celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and had booked here having read reviews on TripAdvisor. It was raining heavily so we joked about it being our fault (I’m Irish, hubby is Welsh ) Service was leisurely, but we had a bread basket, wine and nowhere else to be so we relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere and each other. Our food was simply fabulous, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Thierry recommended gorgeous wines to go with each course and we enjoyed every single one. No other restaurant touched this over our weekend. It is one I’d recommend in a heartbeat, it’s worth every cent of what you pay!
