Recently opened and completely renovated city hotel with very nice staff and clean rooms. We booked a room with a double bed for two nights over New Year's Eve. Rooms are small, but everthing is there for your stay. Bathroom with a rain shower, quite small mirror and not much storage for your sewing bag stuff. The room doors have a poor sound insulation, if other people return late, you probably hear them easily. As the hotel is situated in a small side road, it is very quiet even with open windows. We decided to drop the breakfast for approx. 9 EUR but have been offered the breakfast for the second day. As we went up early, the receptionist went to the next bakery and brought us fresh bread and a real french croissant together with jam, fruitjuicea and coffee (continental breakfast).
Metro Station Porte de Vincennes is easily to access in less than 5min walk and connects you to the most important subway line M1 which brings you to the citiy center and all important connections to other lines.
Overall a very positive experience. I can highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay a couple of days in Paris without spending a lot of money for a hotel room.
