We stumbled upon this great little restaurant while visiting montmartre. It was a cool drizzly afternoon and the beef bourginone was the perfect comfort food. It was a little pricier than some of the other places in the area but was well worth it to avoid all the tourist traps

We were lucky to have come across this restaurant during our day trip to Mont Martre (which has plenty of "tourist traps"). Food is of high quality and the service was very friendly. We would go there again.

While the food we had here was mixed overall it was a good meal.

The bone marrow was incredibly rich but my husband really enjoyed it. The baguette served with it was some of the best we had in Paris.

Beef bourguignon was very satisfying and everything you would want it to be.

Unfortunately the duck was incredibly tough and the vegetables served with it were very tired looking, like they had been sitting around a few hours or longer. This dish was actually inedible. So we just shared the beef.

It was actually enough food so we left feeling satisfied and it was one of the better meals we had in Paris. But if we were to return we would probably stick with what they do best.

Also the house wine was very poor quality and gave me a headache. Better to buy a bottle.

Location: right now there is some work done in the street, but anyway easy to find. We arrived at 7 pm, but afterwards they were VERY busy.It might be a good idea to get there intime.
Cuisine: They have about 10 dishes to choose from (prices 17 Eur to 24 Eur). Food was nice, but not excellent.
Ambiente: Well, since lots of people sat outside, it was not really cosy.

The greeter was very friendly and does an excellent job hovering in the street to chat to passers-by and entice them into this restaurant or its sister bistro across the street. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. The food was average and the service utterly inept. Desserts lacked finesse, being smothered in creme chantilly, creme anglaise AND ice cream. It is not cheap and there are plenty of other restaurants in the surrounding area offering much better value. Definitely wouldn't eat here again.
