“Trash in Paris”

Nine thinghs for go in Paris and only one for doesn't go : Cicchetti Restaurant.
The restaurant is near Mont Matre when i was with my family for a beautiful morning in Paris's sun.
It's a little bit dark but is quite chic. The waiter is quite gentle and professionally.
We took a menu degustation of five little plates ( the name of restaurant depends of this) like tapas, but in my opinion are an ugly imitation of that.
The only things positives was the excellent carpaccio with a gratefully poetry salad and a sort of sardinian risotto (i don't remeber the exactly name) very coloured and taste!
Embarassing the beef check! People it's summer! How it's f......possible eat a dish of this kind with forty degrees? I can't understand. Really inappropriate. How inappropriate is the hot Tiramisu...again...do they want to kill people? Probably Carlo Craco (the italian Gordon Ramsey) the chef was invented the plate, is crying a river.

“Not good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2013

This restaurant, in line with its name, only serves "cicchetti" which are teeny portions (as the waiter explained, like tapas but Italian). Unfortunately, the cicchetti are nothing like as tasty as any tapas I have experienced. The doll's size portion of salad was bland, the 1 inch square piece of tuna was tasteless and rubbery, the microscopic aubergine millefeuille was just OK. We had some sort of coffee flavoured dessert (tiramisu, I think) which tasted as if somebody had tipped half a jar of nescafe into it - vastly over-flavoured. For the quantity and poor quality of what we ate, the price was inflated, especially as by the time we got home we were hungry again. The only reason I am giving a rating of poor rather than terrible is that (a) the wait staff were pleasant and attentive and (b) the free chocolates at the end of the meal were delicious and - bizarrely in light of what had gone before - very large.
