We stayed in the Hotel Fabric for 5 nights. The hotel is new, and well-appointed with modern decor in the lobby & rooms. The rooms are slightly on the small side, but create an spacious ambiance with high ceilings & modern decor and lighting. I was a little concerned with possible street noise, but there was none on the 2nd floor. Staff are friendly & knowledgeable, and there is an adequate breakfast (pastries, fruit, coffee etc.), and an honor-bar in the evening.

The location in Oberkampf is great! It is quiet, and there are a lot of nice bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Despite being a little out of the main tourist areas, the hotel is walking distance from 4 metro lines, making for quick and easy connections.

I will stay here again next time I visit Paris.

Room Tip: No street noise from street-facing rooms

Small hotel in the outskirts of Paris which will require travel to attractions. It is not in your typical Paris area but in a Fabric warehouse spot. Dont let this put you off the area is fine with local shops as chemist, small supermarket next door and many cafes. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and an amazing comftable bed. The bathroom is very cool with rain and hand shower, it is on the small side but did not bother us. We paid extra for breakfast was I think 14 euros each bit pricy but very good serviced by a lovely lady each morning. It included juice, tea, coffee machine, cerals, yogurt, boiled egs, sliced meats, cheese, bread and crossiants all laid out buffet style with great tableware. There is a small gym and I think sauna, we didnt use. Close to metro 2 different stops. We got a good price as it is new but I think this price may go up and then it may be better to stay closer but it really is a lovely place and I would stay again.

Room Tip: We had a 3rd floor room next to lift little bit noisy great views so pick one further from the lifts...

This recently opened boutique hotel in the 11th district offers good value. The location is convenient to transportation although not in the heart of the tourist area. The staff was helpful and friendly. When we arrived early in the morning a room was ready and they offered us breakfast. The decor is eclectic. The rooms were very comfortable with nice bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. A small gym and steam room are available although we did not use them. Free coffee and tea were offered in the lobby throughout the day. A very good Paris choice.

Upon first entering this hotel, we were greeted by the friendly staff and shown seats where we could sit whilst we checked in. The foyer is very nicely decorated with comfy armchairs and has a coffee machine available 24/7 (plus complimentary cakes!).

The room was slightly small, however we had a large and very comfortable bed and it was very clean. The bathroom was beautiful, with a large rainfall showerhead and small fairy lights built into the wall. LÓccitane toiletries in the bathroom (including face towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc) are a little bit of luxury & are restocked everyday.

The location is good, close to the Marais district. We found a few nice cafes in the area. It was nice to be out of the tourist zone, we didn't really see any tourists at all. Be aware that if you intend on travelling to the main tourist sights everyday this location may not be the most suitable for you, however there is a metro station closeby that will quickly take you back into the centre of town.

The basement of the hotel contains a nice little gym with new equipment.

Everything in this hotel is beautiful. The finishing touches really add to the comforting feel about the place.

As a final note, I wish to thank the staff for their outstanding service during our stay. I have stayed at many hotels in Paris, and this is by far the best.

I booked at the last minute going by other Tripadvisor reviews and could not have asked for anything more. Beautiful boutique hotel in a Paris neighborhood that welcomes you as a honored guest. The rooms were immaculate with a comfortable bed and wonderful towels and linens and a very cool bathroom. That being said , it was the amazing staff that makes this hotel so special. They were so helpful in arranging tours, transport and getting any information we needed, going above and beyond. Natalia is an absolute gem!! The restaurant across the street, La Cave De L'insolite was wonderful, meal prepared with the freshest ingredients and the atmoshere was warm and friendly . We really feel like we had a true French experience staying here with our 12 year old daughter! Metro is easy to use and is only 2 short blocks away!

It's rare that we take the risk of staying at a brand new hotel without previous reviews but we found a great deal for Hotel Fabric and decided to take a flyer. Paris is full of unpleasant hotels hyped as being wonderful and in fact this is a hotel that actually lives up to the potential.

The location is great.
The room (we had the top floor duplex room) was big and comfortable.
And the service was the best we've had in Paris if not all of Europe. We were traveling with our twin 1 year old boys and happened to be there during the hottest few days in years. The staff were always incredibly friendly and went to great lengths to help us any way possible.
Upon arrival our room wasn't ready (we were early) but in short time they had prepared the room with two baby cribs set up and ready to go in a lovely, clean space. They helped us by washing the boys' milk bottles and putting up with their noise and nonsense in the lobby/lounge.
The honor bar system is nice and drinks are quite reasonable (€5 for a glass of wine in Paris is not bad).

Next time I'm in Paris - for work or play I'll be staying here.

Room Tip: If you're traveling with children, the top floor "loft-style" room is great. Space for...

The Hotel FABRIC is located between Republique and Bastille in the heart of Paris. This former workshop was transformed into a chic and stylish hotel. The 33 guestrooms are as stylish as they are comfortable. Their decor plays on the dualities which have always enlivened the neighbourhood: graphic shapes and industrial furniture from the factories sit alongside highly colourful, quality fabrics evoking the workers' allotment gardens of the Menilmontant quarter. ... more   less
