“Like Being a Guest in Someone's Home”
Reviewed 24 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Our stay at Bruno’s B&B was a delight! Our part of the apartment was comfortable, clean and roomy with a view from our balcony of Sacre Coeur in Montmarte.

We were very close to the Metro making it very convenient to travel to each Arrondissment in Paris.

Bruno is a kind and thoughtful host; serving a delicious breakfast each morning and being there to help us with our day.

All who stay with Bruno should also try to book a few homemade dinners with him. He is a wonderful cook and our conversations during breakfast and dinner were entertaining and memorable.

Most appreciated and thoughtful were the brochures waiting for us each evening to help us arrange our day.

We will always have fond memories of our stay and hope we can travel to Paris in the near future. If so, we would definitely stay with Bruno.

Bruno is the consummate host! His knowledge of Paris and genuine hospitality is without parallel! The apartment is well appointed and well located. The excellent breakfasts and dinner prepared and shared with Bruno are so enjoyable. He adds to Paris' attractiveness. We will definitely return.

“A comfortably appointed apartment with a fantastic host.”
Reviewed 20 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

The apartment is in a wonderful location. a five minute walk to the metro and close to some great restaurants and local market. It is easy to navigate your way around Paris and Bruno is always on hand with great tips. Make some time to have a meal with Bruno he is a great host and his meals are delicious. This was my second stay at the apartment as we had such a great time on our first trip= my return visit was fanstastic

“Great stay at B&B”

Could not have wished for a better centralized location in Paris. Close to all forms of transportation, including great trendy neighborhood for leisure walks and close to the market. It was a younger crowd neighborhood and my husband and I ,who are retirees, still felt very comfortable walking around and exploring the area. Our host, Bruno, was incredibly helpful and thoughtful at every stage of our experience from booking through departure. His cozy apartment had everything to make our stay enjoyable, from the bright comfortable bedroom to the warm and cozy study where we would sit and plan out our day! It was a pleasure waking up and enjoying a beautiful breakfast in his modern kitchen. Bruno’s passion for Paris comes out in his conversations and his knowledge of the city makes it a very personalized experience, which you will not get in a hotel. Just in passing, there are 5 flights of stairs to get to the apartment which we considered part of the Paris experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We stayed here 4 nights. After a walk up 5 flights of old stairs, we found our nice 2 room b+b. Breakfast was excellent every morning. A real strength of staying here is Bruno ' s knowledge of the sites and especially the transportation. The only compromise is the choice between keeping the windows closed (warm and stuffy ) vs open (really noisy all night ).

Thank you for your review, and your nice stay in my B&B, it was a pleasure to have you here in Paris.
I am sorry for the inconvenience of the warm weather we had during your stay, it's so really rare in Paris, the fan helped to keep it cooler, and the closed stores all day too. And that's true that people enjoys going out during the evenings of the summer weekend. I hope it will be quieter and cooler for your newt trips in Paris.
Hoping to see you again in my B&B.
Bruno

Stay at Bruno's charming B&B, and you can kid yourself into thinking you're a local. This outstanding B&B is so perfectly located - close to Bastille, but away from the tourists and the noise; an easy walk to the Metro, even with huge suitcases; the famous Sunday and Thursday market on rue Richard Lenoir is just down the road; a pleasant stroll to the Seine, with all its attraction quite close by; very close to the Marais; a collection of terrific restaurants just doors away; a laundromat just down the street, and a supermarket a couple of blocks away - it just couldn't be better.

Bruno is the quintessential host, as other reviewers have commented. He is charming, helpful, friendly, a great cook, and altogether the tops! The apartment is delightful, two spacious rooms each with a tiny balcony festooned with flowerpots, with views to the left of the Bastille monument and to the right of the distant Sacre Coeur at the top of Montmartre. The bed is comfortable, the sitting room full of personal touches, such as photographs, an extensive array of books, quirky little ornaments, and a fridge with chilled water waiting for you. The bathroom is just fine, given the space limits.

Bruno's breakfasts are legendary. Fresh baguettes and croissants straight from the boulangerie, yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, great coffee, home-made jams and marmalades (some made by Bruno's mother), and always something special which Bruno has cooked himself - it's everything you could want. Bruno will also cook you dinner, with sufficient notice, for a very reasonable amount, and it is very special to spend your first night in Paris having dinner in the home of a Parisian, who can really cook!

We stayed with Bruno at the beginning and the end of our recent trip, and he kindly made arrangements so that we could get into the apartment for the second visit, as he was out that evening. It is so reassuring to know that you can arrive and that you can get in, even if the owner is out. He also minded some excess luggage for us, for the 5 weeks we were somewhere else. So very kind ... And he helped us each time with our luggage up and down the 5 floors to his apartment.

I recommend Bruno's to anyone planning a visit to Paris - I challenge you to find anywhere better!
