The apartment was beautiful. It had everything we needed and what was listed.
The location was perfect, right near a famous food street, train stations and historic areas. We were able to stroll to most sites from this location.
The streets around the apartment had a great vibe and if you left the windows open you could get street entertainment or could close them for a peaceful refuge.
David our greeter was fantastic and explained everything to us and told us about hidden gems around the city.
This apartment was one of our highlights on the trip and I would definitely book with Cobblestones again when visiting Paris.
Loved the river cruise, beautiful different look at Paris. Apartment so comfortable and charming. The location is absolutely the "BEST". Close to everything-restaurants, cafes, patisseries, Monoprix, Metro, and Rue Montorgueil, and sights. The information book was so helpful and a great plus.
From the start communicating with Jennifer was easy and quick. Cobblestone has so many lovely flats that it's difficult to decide. This one was so centrally located and the architecture and decor spoke to me, so classic in its Frenchness, so Parisien.
Our only hiccup was that the housekeeper did not leave the key for the greeter, it was about an hour from when we arrived at the meeting spot on the corner until David finally had us inside the flat.
David was very helpful, he spent a lot of time going over maps and recommendations after showing us around the flat.
The flat itself was just as pictured, the large windows in the living/dining room open and you can lean out over the wrought iron and breathe in Paris. The animal print chair is perfect for early mornings...just sit, drink coffee (included in the apartment), eat a pastry picked up from Stohrer on Rue Montorgueil and enjoy the open windows. With the windows closed the flat is very, very quiet which is surprising given the amount of activity down below.
The bed was comfortable and large, I wish there was a little more room to store large suitcases in the flat.
We walked everywhere around Paris, save the Eiffel tower which we used an Uber to get to/from as our feet were tired from walking. It was easy to get to Versailles, just use Etienne Marcel metro just below the flat and connect at Saint Michel to the RER C, it took us an hour to get there door to door.
The neighborhood is clean and nice and I loved being in walking distance (5 minutes) to Rue Montorgueil, I ended up there several times.
I recommend Cobblestone Paris to anyone visiting Paris and La Royal du Marche to those who want a quintessential Parisien apartment in a central location.
PS- after visiting the Eiffel Tower we used our free Seine cruise tickets from Cobblestone and enjoyed a 7pm, 1 hour boat cruise. This timed up perfectly to see the Eiffel Tower start its evening light show at 8pm. Thanks, Cobblestone.
The apartment is beautiful and the location is great - you can walk to all kinds of of restaurants and shops, and it's convenient to get to all the sights in Paris. It's right in the center of everything. As a tip, if you're like us you might like biking around Paris to see the sight as a fun way to get around, and it was convenient to have a Velib bike stand around the corner - this is a type of bike sharing system where you can take a bike from one location and return it to another location once you get to where you're going.
Hi I have never booked accommodation through a blog before, so I was a little nervous. However, we had an amazing experience form the time we met our greeter to when we left. The location was fantastic and the inside was great and had all we needed as well. We travelled with two teenage boys and there was plenty of space. Again I loved this apartment.
We loved the location, very near all the meeting sights for the tours we had arranged. And the local flavor of stores and restaurants gave us and our boys a real sense of living in Paris.
Loved this apartment. The location was so central. Everything on your doorstep. Felt like a real Parisien.
