Le 123 Sebastopol - Astotel

My sister and I just returned from a seven night visit at Le 123 Sebastopol in Paris, and I honesty wouldn't recommend anywhere better for the budget-seeking (or otherwise) traveler. I spent weeks looking for hotels in St. Germain, and they were all more expensive and lacking all the fabulous amenities that the 123 Sebastopol offers.

The hotel is beautifully decorated (whether you're a movie buff or not). And, the rooms are immaculately kept and very spacious and well-designed. The breakfast was elegant and delicious, and the lobby and dining room areas are such that you could spend a rainy day inside and still enjoy yourself.

Above all, the staff is some of the best I have come across in years. From Monsieur Godard (the manager) to every single staff member (including Cedric, Delphine, Cindy, Gregory, Salomon and many more) everyone sincerely wants you to have the best stay possible.

Thank you so much, 123 Sebastopol, for making my visit to Paris super-memorable. You are my new home in Paris!

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful in their own very unique way.

We stayed 4 nights to celebrate our 30th universerys . I am very picky about hotels and I must say this hotel was great from the first moment.location was very convenient but the hotel is in a commercial area so dont expect too much here. Other then that the hotel is perfect. The designe is all about movies very cute but not kitchy at all. The room we got was good size for Paris very clean and again a very nice designe. Free minibar in the room and a coffee machine was a nice touch.I think what made our experience so great was the stuff. They send us a bottle of champagne and a little present to mark our special day. Nothing was too hard for them and they always did it with a big smile. We have been in Paris many times and we always choose new hotels but this hotel was the best.thank you for a really great vacation.

Ok , this is a smart and different boutique hotel , near a Metro station on a direct line to Gare du Nord and a pretty good place for a base to explore a great city.

But ......small things make a difference. Free mini bar of soft drinks , but no milk for the tea or coffee machine. Stayed two nights and the dirty coffee cups were not taken away , and neither was the tea/coffee replenished.
The barman had to be reminded we had ordered drinks ; he had forgotten us !

At €380 for a superior room , I regret the service was not 4 star.

We had a six night stay at this property and it was second to none. We traveled with another couple and from the minute we arrived, before check in time, Cindy and the rest of the crew treated us with incredible care. Because our rooms were not ready, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast and were allowed to leave our luggage at the desk. They all took extra care to learn our names and help us with dinner reservations and side trips. The rooms were incredibly clean and the theme of the property was carried out with impeccable precision. Free mini bar soft drinks and afternoon snacks were a great addition to the property. It was definitely like home away from home. We were able to walk to most of our destinations, but chose to take the subway as time went on because we were pretty tired. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Paris.

This new boutique property lived up to the great reviews seen here. The French cinema theme was inspired. The rooms were incredibly quiet. My 5th floor room overlooked a beautiful park. The breakfast was extensive. The small workout facility was chic. The complimentary minibar was a nice touch. The L'Occitane toiletries were luxurious. The location is fairly convenient. The staff were uniformly friendly and informative. Good value for the money. I'd happily recommend to friends and colleagues.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Paris. My wife and I walked everywhere. It was the center of the shopping we did to the southeast on Rue des Francs Bourgeois, the show we saw to the northwest at theatre des Nouveautes, the Louvre/Notre Dame to the south, and the Eiffel Tower to the west (a little bit of a walk, but well worth it). We even walked further south to the 6th for some great macaroons at Pierre Herme. About the only thing we didn't walk to was Roland Garros. Any cab will know the street this hotel is located on. There should be no issues communicating how to get home.

The hotel provided a lot of extras that were greatly appreciated. There was a complimentary snacks and drinks spread set up every day, the mini bar was stocked with complimentary water, juice, and soda, movies were shown, etc. Staff was more than helpful.

If you stay, try and eat at near-by Frenchie. It was a great dining experience.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

This was our first time in Paris and 123 Sebastopol was not a disappointment, from the high standard room, quality hotel surroundings and friendly helpful staff. We will certainly be returning, thank you.
