My husband and I spent six nights at this lovely French boutique hotel. The review on Trip-advisor were all 100% accurate. All the staff speak multiple languages and are very attentive and helpful in every way. On arrival a complimentary bottle of champagne including a note from the General Manager as we were celebrating our Golden Anniversary.
Our room was in a French musical theme, very clean, the bed was comfortable, so was the large shower. Free WFI and A/C which is very important to most of us international travelers.
Every morning we had a fabulous breakfast, and every afternoon there are complimentary snacks that one could make into an high tea afternoon if you wish so.
The hotel is central located with two metro stations close by. The Notre Dame only a 15 minutes walk, we even did a 30 min. walk to the Louvre Museum as it was a pleasant cool day.
We'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Rooms looking out to the courtyard are quieter!

The hotel was easy to reach (we drove down from the UK), being only a few miles from the end of the A1. There is a nearby public car park which charges €36 per 24 hour stay (but in CASH only so be prepared - credit and debit cards are NOT ACCEPTED which is a pain when you have stayed for 3 days - luckily there are lots of cash machines in the vicinity). The hotel staff were welcomig and attentive and happy to recommend and book local restaurants. The quirkily-decorated rooms are reasonably sized by Paris standards with very comfortables beds. There was not a huge amount of storage space in our room (just shelves and a hanging rail, no drawers) but we were only there for 3 nights so that was not too much of a problem. The shower was generously sized, with L'Occitaine toiletries provided. The buffet breakfast (€18 a head) was very good and there was plenty to eat. The hotel is close to the Marais and within walking distance of the Centre Pompidou, the Louvre and other key attractions. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the two courtyards are nice and quiet.

Dear Alison S,

Thanks you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us here!

We are really glad to read you were satisfied by your stay with us.

However, we feel sorry about your payment misadventure in the nearby parking.
We contacted this last one in order to get more details about the payment methods available.
So, let me kindly inform you they do accept credit card payments (excepted American Express), yet for security reasons, payments with foreign credit cards have to be proceed directly at the front desk and not at the automatic machines, both available within this parking.
Otherwise, you are right, there are plenty of cash machines in the vicinity!
Thank you a lot for informing us about this issue and then allowing us to provide now an answer to you and all the future guests reading your review!

Rest assured that our team do its best to provide you the best quality service possible: from the parking area to once inside our hotel ;-)

We would be more than happy to welcome you again next time you are in Paris, for this time, provide you a 100% flawless experience!

Sincerely,

Hugues Godard,

We stayed for 5 nights in this small quirky hotel. The rooms and all public areas are decorated with the film theme which was lovely.
On arrival there was a complimentary half bottle of champagne as we were celebrating a special birthday. The free (non alcoholic) mini bar was greatly appreciated.
We were very impressed with the complimentary afternoon buffet which we used everyday as it was so easy to get back to the hotel from visiting the sights as it is very close to several metro lines. So after some refreshments we were ready to venture out again into this beautiful city.
Even walking back to the hotel wasn't a great distance.
The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. We were made to feel special - something that doesn't happen in larger hotels.

Room Tip: Our room over looked the front but was still quiet.

The reviews on Trip Advisor for Le 123 Sebastopol are all 100% accurate; friendly and highly attentive staff, gorgeous hotel decor, beautifully renovated rooms, a central location in Paris, metro across the road, pockets of non touristy restaurants, complimentary afternoon snacks coffee tea beverages akin to a high tea. There is nothing more to add, except that the rice pudding served with a caramel sauce at breakfast buffet is to worthy of another trip back to this stunning hotel!

This place is fantastically presented, has great staff and a good breakfast and day buffet spread. My wife will never forget unlimited caramel tarts. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The hotel is close to two metro stations, and a 12 minute walk away from Notre Dame. Full box ticker with a twist.

I booked this hotel because of Trip Advisor Reviews. The reviewers were correct. It is a boutique hotel with French movie theme rooms. there is even a small theater to see a french film every day at 5:30PM. Complementary soft drinks, coffee, and juices in the lobby, plus snacks. Coffee and water and soft drinks in the room. Big shower in a modern bathroom. i could go on and on. The hotel is 2 blocks from a metro station, but we walked about a mile and 1/2 to Notre Dame. The pictures on the website are accurate...and free WIFI

We had two nights as this great hotel during the Tour de France. the reception staff were really helpful and friendly giving us recommendation of restaurants to try. The room whilst a bit quirky (decorated like a cinema set) was very clean, bed good size and very comfortable, bathroom again a good size, good water pressure in shower with modern fittings. Softdrink/water mini bar a real plus. Our room was at the back of the hotel so nice and quiet. We didn't try the breakfast prefering the French breakfast of just croissant and coffee saving ourselves for lunch but the breakfast looked very good. The area around the hotel is a bit "interesting" but I felt safe and there are two metros on the doorstop. The reception staff were very helpful in advising their customers how to be street smart in Paris, there seemed to be more homeless people on the streets, some with what seemed their whole house (dogs, furniture, children, toys etc) than previous visits but we didn't find them threatening in any way. I would definitely stay here again on so much better than some of the other pokey and unfriendly hotels that seem to be the norm in Paris.

Room Tip: room at back of building as front is on a busy road.
