Superclean and soulless, cheap for Paris but it would be an expensive 3-star anywhere.
Kettle in the room but with flimsy paper cups and two sachets each of coffee, decaf etc - who has just one brew a day? We ended up buying our own mugs, coffee and UHT from the shopping centre across the road, which is very handy.
We did not bother with breakfast since even at Paris prices I couldn't eat enough to justify the €12/€19 going rate.
Well connected even though you have to endure the Montparnasse travelator and plenty of steps to get to most major Metro lines, which adds time to the journey. The 13 line is more accessible but doesn't go to many places.
The direct coach to CDG (€17 atm) stops just outside the hotel, or you can walk 15 minutes to Denfert and catch the RER B to CDG for €9.50. Unless it's pouring with rain, this is much easier than crossing Montparnasse Metro to catch the 4 and change to RER B.
Won't be staying again but it was a great treat for my birthday week!More
