My wife and I came here for our 20th anniversary and it was fantastic. You're really a part of a neighborhood here...a wonderful Parisian experience. Rooms are smaller than one would find in big hotels in the US...which one should expect when you're nestled in a Parisian neighborhood. And not to sound like a total lush...but we loved the open bar -- it was great to be able to grab a quick drink after a long day of walking, or a nightcap after a long night of eating. Just a fantastic place -- it will be our go-to hotel for future Paris visits.

Room Tip: We did the prestige room with terrace -- absolutely worth the money. The terrace has a multiplying effect on the room...and was a great place to eat breakfast each morning.

While our room may have been small it was well appointed. But the place where you sleep is secondary in this absolutely fabulous home away from home! Cannot say enough about the staff and how accommodatinQg, warm and hospitable they were! The common areas where you have terrific la petite dejeuner every morning and refreshments day and night are so inviting comfortable and relaxing. The food is excellent and the atmosphere low key when you mingle with your fellow guests. Just a charming experience in a superb location in the Left Bank.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel 5 times and it just keeps getting better. The open bar downstairs is delightful, especially on a cool .december evening with a roaring fire. The restaurant is perfect! Previously, the restaurant was in the basement and it was dark and uninviting. Today it is a light filled beautifully decorated room and the buffet breakfast is excellent as are the omlettes. The service is always gracious and everyone has an excellent command of English, which is important as the clientele appears to be 80% English speaking. If one tries to speak French, they truly appreciate your efforts. The most common complaint is that the rooms are small and this is true, unless you have a suite. We have done both and while larger accommodations and two bathrooms are more comfortable, the price is much higher. The regular rooms are small but well designed and everything one needs is there and the bathrooms are lovely. Finally, this is our favorite area of Paris, the soul of this great city where one can walk aimlessly and soak in the Parisian ambiance. We have found our second home in Paris!

We recently spent 8 nights at this small hotel in Paris. The welcome at check in was very warm and pleasant including a friendly greeting at the curb and champagne inside in the fireside room. Our room was small but luxuriously efficient. The AC worked well which is not always the case in France and there were elevators to the floors. The staff was magnificent. They were friendly and knowledgeable and guided us to a number of excellent restaurants in the area. The location of the hotel is excellent close to shops, food and attractions. Many of Paris' main tourist attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is within a block of St. Sulplice cathedral, well work seeing, and a couple of blocks from the Luxemburg gardens. I cannot praise the staff highly enough as they made our stay very special. The facilities themselves are top notch and the hotel is spotless. Of note, the hotel offers wine, champagne and a small assortment of drinks included in the cost of the room. It was very pleasant to have a glass of wine and exchange pleasantries with other guests after a busy day. The common areas of the hotel are a very nice touch and make up for the small room size. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and if at all possible we will be back!

Room Tip: The breakfast at the hotel is very good and worth the cost.
