This fantastic house is located within a private gated community just off Rue Lepic and a stone's throw from Rue des Abbesses. Within the gates lies a beautiful communal garden surrounded by a number of lovely properties.
The house itself is quite beautiful. Set over two floors and flooded with light from the huge 2 storey windows. It's easy to see that it was once a working studio for artists which has been carefully and considerately re-designed as a striking home. It is full of beautiful objets d'art collected by Christophe the owner over time and which he is very happy for visitors to enjoy.
The photos of the house on the web page are an accurate representation but do not actually do the property justice as you do not get a full appreciation of this great space from the images. The upper floor contains the bedrooms, bathroom and shower room which were all of a very good standard too.
Christophe himself is a fabulous host, he lives in the basement of the property and is keen to provide support and guidance, as required. Upon our arrival he welcomed us with a bottle of lovely wine and took the time to sit and chat about our plans, making suggestions and providing guidance. Prior to arrival he had taken the time to book us a couple of recommended restaurants for dinner and make suggestions for things to do to suit our group
The locale is fantastic, many lovely shops to buy local produce in Rue Lepic which is a foodie paradise and numerous places to eat, drink and people watch close by on Rue des Abbesses and the sights and delights of Montmartre practically on the doorstep.
