My family stayed here for 5 nights in July 2013. The first impression was messy, as the newspapers and magazines were all over the place in the lobby. When we went to our floor, the lights were very dim. When we reached our room, it was spacious - what a surprise! The carpet on the floor looked dirty and worn out; the bathroom was ok, space wise, but the toilet was placed in a way that if you sit on it, you can't close the door. You need to sit side ways if you want to close it. We didn't like the kitchenette because it was built in a cupboard and we had a leaking faucet. We enjoyed having the fridge though as the weather was really hot, 34 degrees Celsius. The breakfast was good. It had hard boiled eggs and scramble eggs among others like croissants, etc. Overall, it's a poor to ok type of hotel, but compare to Quality Suites here in North America, it's poor. If you are looking for spacious rooms, good breakfast and close to the Metro/RER, and don't mind small bathrooms, this would be ok. Oh by the way, the WiFi is extremely weak to no signals when you're in the room. We didn't try using our phones when we were in the lobby but there's a common use computer there and it has slow connection too!

Thank you for your commentary,

The wifi will be modify during the month of Septembre.
Concerning the rooms, all the bathrooms were renoved, but it is true it is quite small. There is a sytem to close the bathroom's door at the entrance.
The floors will be renoved during 2014.

Best Regards,

This hotel is in need of some serious tender loving care. My room had a smell from the 1980's (I guess as this was because there was no option to select 'non-smoking'), the TV was very old with no remote control (I asked for one, was told I would get one, but never got one). I told this to reception staff (who were lovely) and they did advise that new TV's are due to be installed soon.

Inside the bathroom there was a huge damp patch on the ceiling and there is a design fault with the bathroom door. If the door is not closed properly, and you leave the room, when opening the door to the room, the bathroom door slides open and can block the room door from opening.

There was no fresh fruit for breakfast (just fruit segments swimming in juice on a hot summer morning. Water was tepid.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 110. Avoid and hope the other rooms are better.

The renovations of the hotel began this summer.
All the bathrooms are redone and televisions will be changed the end of August.
The WiFi will also work at the beginning of September in all the establishment.
We hope that we can receive you again in our establishment.

We stayed here last year during our first trip to Paris. We were surprised by the typical european standards, I guess. The room is small, room for 4 to sleep and not much else. The 'kitchen' is a closet/wardrobe with a door that swings open. There was a small refrigerator, that was leaking as when we arrived, a 2 burner "stove" I believe, an odd assortment of cutlery and dishes. We were initially thinking we would prepare easy meals a few times, but that didn't happen. We kept water and milk in the refrigerator and bought the kids some cereal and fruit for quick breakfasts. The bathroom is literally like a small closet in an american starter home. We hit our knees on the door as we used the toilet, and the shower was a raised platform that was so small that it was impossible to take a shower without the shower curtain clinging to you, ewww! The a/c wasn't very efficient, we slept with the window open, which was pretty quiet actually. It WAS convenient to the subway, near a grocery store, and Starbucks (they only had a water kettle and instant coffee packs in the room.)
With all that said, by american standards it wasn't ok, but we literally only slept there. We were out and about all day and into most nights, so just having a place to get cleaned up and sleep were necessary. If I had planned to spend more time in my room I would've been very unhappy.
Wifi was spotty, we had to sit in the "lobby" to use it.

Room is basic and not too small for paris standard. Bed had bugs that made the whole body itch. There was a loud buzz next to the airconditioning that went off every 10 mins. Room smelt like toilet freshener. Location is decent. Wifi worked well.

Room Tip: Do not take room 17

Arrived late and tired. There was no courtesy tray in the kitchen area - no cups, kettle, no glasses. There was a mismatch of cutlery - 3 spoons, 1 knife, 2 forks. Two plates and one bowl.
We complained and the staff said they would send it up. 45 minutes later and two more requests most items arrived - still no kettle and an odd plastic cup. It appeared they had grabbed the first things they could find.
The room was horrible and overlooked a major building project - with associated noise the next morning. We checked out a.s.a.p.
