I stayed at La Reserve for a long weekend on valentines day from Feb 14-17th. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place to do it. It will be hard to top this trip. From the moment we arrived our stay was exceptional. Four notable reasons to stay are the location, the staff, the hotel, and the food.
First, you cannot beat the location. You can walk to almost everything. The only time we took a car anywhere was to go out to versailles for the day. We walked to The Lourve, Nortre Dame, Mont St Michelle, De Orsay, the Eiffel tower, and the Arc De Triumph. You are right next to the French president's house so its also incredibly safe. During the protest on Saturday the street was blocked off, but the guards let us through immediately when we flashed the hotel key card.
Second, The staff was great. We had our room serviced multiple times per day and there were always pleasant surprised when we returned to our room including rose petals covering the bed and heart balloons on valentines day. Another time it was a chocolate Eiffel Tower. The concierge were also incredibly helpful with reservations (special thanks to Oliver and Elana for going the extra mile with our reservations. Every time we walked through the hotel the staff was incredibly friendly, warm and inviting.

Third, The hotel and room were immaculate. The heated floors in the bathrooms and toilet seat were a nice touch. The decor is also on a quiet block so its easy to sleep in if you like. See some of the pictures attached. Not much explanation needed here. I really enjoyed the cologne in the bathroom which they allowed me to keep. I have gotten several compliments on the it since wearing it at home. I would recommend selling this as a standalone product :)
Four, the food at La Reserve is top notch. Getting the breakfast every day delivered to room service was awesome. We really enjoyed everything. We also had the pleasure of eating at Le Gabriel for Valentines day. The tasting menu was excellent and one of the better meal's I've had. The vibe is intimate and upscale. I would also like to note the recommendation of the concierge to go to Victoria restaurant which overlooks the Arc De Triumph. Go there and try the veal ragu pasta (its a must). The vibe here is more trendy, chic with clubby music.
If there is anything to improve it would be the staff's knowledge of guests packages for their stay. We had to remind the staff several times about our package, but once they validated it, they were incredibly helpful. We also had a few items charged to the bill that were included in the package, but the staff did a great job with customer service again resolving the problem.
Overall an incredible trip and the hotel was great. Like any trip there are always some hiccups, but the staff''s ability to respond was exception. We hope to return soon. I highly recommend the hotel.More
