Having become disgruntled with service aspects and bad attitudes at one of the most popular Palace Hotels (George V) I decided to move after a few days into a two week stay. Having stayed once before at this stunning hotel when it first opened I hadn’t had the chance to return. As it’s on the smaller side it tends to be tricky to get the roomtype I prefer for stays as long as ten days or more. Knowing what to expect when I drove up the the arguably nicest spot n Paris for a luxe stay in an impeccably decorated mansion, I was delighted to see the beaming entry way and the staff just as inviting as my last visit. What I especially love about all the spaces in this magnificent hotel: Jaques Garcia collaborated with the Owner to bring off an absolutely unique union of extraordinary ideas. Sometimes a collaboration can feel like a compromise whereas in this case, happily, brilliance was enhanced to create dreams I hadn’t known I had. We were luckily booked into the same suite, with panorama of stunning Paris from the terrace that runs the length of the suite. It’s almost too intoxicating. I don’t have the words to express the perfect marriage of rich fabrics, velvets, damasks (and even a thick embroidered border which enhances the headboard) with the clean, typical Parisian wooden floors and the cleanly painted walls. So nothing became either to theatrical or too stark. The powder room and the hall of hidden closets are just brilliant. The sitting room, dining table...every inch of our commodious suite was just as beautiful as my last visit. As I visit Paris often, I was glad to know I’d have ten days to stay at La Reserve rather than ten days to tour the sights! Not that there are not countless things to do and see at every opportunity to visit magical Paris. But long soaks in one of the loveliest bathrooms and naps on Swiss LINEN sheets with terrace doors ajar, allowing the ambience of Paris inside and the aroma from the lovely green “park” in front of the hotel. Service was personalized: our breakfast favorites were remembered, of course. We enjoyed a few delicious room service meals. The neighborhood is so terrific because, if one enjoys walking, I could set out in any direction and find dozens of my “favorite” part of Paris...there are so many! So thank you all at La Reserve...the entire team are so kind and discreet. It’s easy to pretend I’m a lucky aristocrat, living in a bygone century, as a friend of Flaubert or Chopin but with all the extraordinary latest technology of 2019. This is a singular place and not a more beautiful hotel exists: not the rooms and not the public spaces. Thank you once again for a fantastic experience

Ultra exclusive and elegant Jacqes Garcia- designed hotel for those “in the know”. Quieter than other 5 star luxury hotels and more of a private apartment in Paris feel. Excellent and attentive service, great food. Perfect location just off the Faubourg St Honore and Champs Elysees. My current fave in Paris.

Chère Madame,

Thank you very much for such a kind comment following your stay at La Réserve Paris.

Pleased to read that you appreciated the decoration and the elegance of our private mansion. Designed by Jacques Garcia, in collaboration with Michel Reybier, the interior decoration combines French and Second Empire style to create a unique place in the heart of Paris with a genuine intimate atmosphere.

I am happy you enjoyed the cuisine of our Chef Jérôme Banctel who manages both restaurants of La Réserve Paris and continuously creates a casual menu for La Pagode de Cos and a fine dining menu for our Two Michelin Stars restaurant Le Gabriel.

Thank you very much for mentioning the work and attention you received from our teams. They try to make sure your stay offers you the most relaxing time.

Looking forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back to your Parisian home.

We were lucky to spend New Years Eve here in a magnificent suite. It was wonderful. We we treated like royalty. The staff were eager to help in every way. We had our dinner in our room and it was delicious. We even had our own butler and he was so nice. We swam in the pool at the spa which was beautifully decorated. You really get a touch of Paris when you come here.

Few words can do justice to the sublime experience created by La Reserve. A completely faultless stay surrounded by the most charming staff imaginable. Dinner at Gabriel was superb - the tasting menu a culinary feast paired with the most delicious and imaginative wines. I couldn’t recommend it more.
