We stayed at the Hotel du Printemps in July 2012 for 4 nights and had 3 rooms with our family of 5 adults and 2 grand girls aged 12 and 9. the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood yet has all the amenities you need within a short walk. A short walk to 2 metro stations that can take you anywhere in Paris within minutes. One station 2 minutes from the hotel and the other maybe 5 minutes. The hotel is immaculately clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, and has an elevator. The staff were friendly, informative, and very accommodating. One staff person took a considerable amount of time trying to solve my cell phone problem with the french cell phone company. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

My family stayed at Hotel du Printemps twice in June and July 2012. It is in a good location on Boulevard Picpus between Metro Stations Picpus and Nation. It is close to the 351 Bus which is the cheapest and most convenient option for travel between the hotel and Charles de Gaulle airport. Only about 4 Euros - use 3 tickets (if you get the book of 10 tickets from the nearby Nation Metro station), or 6 Euros if you get the tickets on the bus. The trip is about an hour and buses run every 30 minutes. Why pay for any other option when the bus stop is only 400m from the hotel?

The hotel has been recently renovated and the bathrooms are all modern with Hans Grohe fittings. The rooms are small, but it is Paris, and who needs a huge room anyway? The beds are comfortable and the rooms spotless.

We did not have breakfast in the hotel, but the restaurant looked good as did the breakfast. If you are on a tight budget there are some good Boulangeries nearby where you can get the freshest pastries and bread and there is a Casino supermarket nearby to get any other necessities.

I have no doubt that when we visit Paris again, we will stay at Hotel du Printemps.

Recently remodeled, nice rooms, nice reception area. Location is pretty good but not excellent, close to the metro. But directions from the Nation stop to the hotel are confusing and need to be updated. Front desk staff were wonderful. Owner and breakfast staff a little cranky at times. Overall highly recommended. AC was appreciated as it was hot. Rooms were small but quiet.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel du Printemps in mid-April 2012. The staff were friendly, the place immaculately clean, and it appeared to have been recently renovated. The hotel is on the Boulevard de Picpus, about a 3 minute walk from Place de la Nation. It is convenient to the Nation Metro stop (Served by the 1, 2, 6, 9, and RER A lines) as well as the Picpus stop (The 6 line). There are several patisseries very close by, a cleaners two doors own, and a small grocery on the opposite side of the roundabout at the end of the block.

We checked in at midday and there was no problem getting into the room early. The lift is quite small, just big enough for two adults with a medium-sized suitcase each, and the hallways are very narrow. The room was a small en-suite with a double bed. There was about 2' of room on either side of the bed, but the room was bright and modern. The bathroom was well-appointed and the room had a small wardrobe with a safe just large enough for wallets and personal paperwork. I wouldn't recommend it if you were going to be spending any length of time working in the room, but for a tourist base of operations it was very nice.

As an added bonus the room had modern central heating & cooling which was COMPLETELY under our control 24 hours a day. We did not find this to be the case in other hotels or B&B's during our 3 weeks in Europe.

The hotel has free WiFi but we found the signal in our room very weak. Our smartphones picked it up about halfway down the stairs to the floor below. There was a computer for the general use of the guests in the lobby and a very strong WiFi signal there as well.

We encountered Marc at the front desk on several occasions and he was wonderful! He was pleasant and friendly and very accommodating of my non-existent French. Marc did us the favor of conversing with us in excellent English. He was handy with recommendations and directions, including telling us about a street market each Wednesday on Cours de Vincennes.

The amenities close by offer the best of an urban environment, but the area is quiet and has a residential feel. With a major Metro stop close by you can be in central Paris within half an hour of leaving your room.

I can recommend the Hotel du Printemps with confidence.

Room Tip: The Metro runs beneath the building. When I noticed it at all in our room on the 4th floor, it was a...

Initially we were disappointed that we weren't staying in the heart of Paris, but we quickly changed our minds. This is a wonderful little hotel in a quiet (for Paris) neighborhood with many amenities nearby and close to two metro stations. The hotel is staffed 24 hours a day with friendly, helpful people. An added bonus is the 8 euro breakfast. Yes, the rooms are small, but very clean and modern. The two restaurants recommended by our hostess were excellent. We would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Paris.

We spent 2 nights at this delightful hotel. From the initial contact to make the reservation through our stay we were very impressed by the level of service provided. The rooms were impeccably clean and neat. The hotel is very well positioned with 2 metro stops within easy walking distance. The breakfast (optional for 10 euros) was extremely good value for money. The friendliness of all staff members set this hotel apart from others that we stayed in on our trip. I will definitely stay here when next in Paris.

This small but lovely hotel was the base for our mini break in Paris last week. The staff were most friendly and heplful throughout, with someone on reception duty at all times. The rooms although compact were spotlessly clean. We chose to have the hotel breakfast and at €8 per day it was great value and set us up for the day's sightseeing. Location is ideal and the train journey from Charles De Gaulle airport is easy, even for the least experienced traveller. Quick change at Chatelet les Halles to Nation railway station and you're there in well under an hour. I would love to return for a longer stay at some point in the future.
