Amazing location, right in the heart of Montmartre but silent at night. Staff lovely, room great, everything brilliant. Can't fault it. Best week of my life. I'd go again, I really hope to one day. Go to this hotel!

You could search for 1,000 years and not find a better hotel in Paris for this kind of value. To be honest, you would struggle to find one for any kind of value.

From the moment I contacted the hotel, and received a delightful response from Juliette, on reception, I knew I had found the perfect place for our 2 day stopover on the drive from the UK so the South West of France. When she introduced herself as we checked in, it was like meeting an old friend.

So many delightful little touches (the decorated lift, in particular, is lovely), combined with the cleanliness and luxury of a much bigger, much more expensive hotel, superb service (Juliette in particular, but all the reception staff were incredibly helpful) and amazing location (Sacre Coeur within easy walking distance, just up from the Moulin Rouge, and just about walkable from everywhere notable) make this one of the very best hotels I've ever stayed in, regardless of price. If the room had had air conditioning (not such a problem if not in the height of summer, I wouldn't imagine) it would have been the best hotel I'd ever come across.

Thank you to the whole team - we look forward to visiting you again before too long!

Room Tip: I would book one of the special rooms - they are not much more expensive, but are significantly larg...

Nice small hotel very well placed in the neighboorghood. The service is great and we had a nice suprised at our arrival: we were upgraded. The room is small but well organized and the bahroom is clean. The view was great on the 6th floor. Definitively a place to stay :-)!

I stayed at this hotel in Aug 2014 at the end of a backpacking trip (15+cities) with my younger brother. I'd say this is a hotel that has completely lost the plot on customer experience and hospitality.

First, the goods : The hotel is situated in a good part of Montmartre, walking distance from Moulin Rouge and the Sacre Coeur. At 70 Eur for a double room, the price is good and the rooms are quite clean.

The bads:
In this hotel, the poor service starts at the front desk. The front office is arrogant during the day and rather headless at nights. Let me explain: Even though Booking.com promised a 2.30 pm checkin, the front office arrogantly informed us that our rooms would not be available until 3.00 pm. Instead of solving the issue, the lady at the front desk turned arrogant, said she wouldn't change the policy even if I showed her the booking.com reservation, and asked me if I still wanted the room!

I stayed for one night but my credit card statement shows two pending charges! This is probably because at night, the front office at night is manned by someone with limited conversational and managerial capabilities. He cannot help with a change of rooms incase something is not working, he cannot answer any queries on how you will be charged etc.

Last but not the least, there is no air conditioning in rooms even in summers. Oddly, you are not allowed to eat anything in your room - not even carry a water bottle - or else be charged at checkout!

Are you sure this is a hotel?!

Room Tip: Rooms don't have air conditioning, and don't have many windows. Plus if you discover that th...

Dear Guests,

Many thanks for your comments.
I feel sorry the hotel did not match all your expectations...even at lowest rate of the year.
We try to make everybody happy but sometimes it is beyond our power...
Best regards from Montmartre.

This hotel is in a great location very close to Blanche metro, taking you to the top tourist attractions within 20mins,ten minutes from Le sacrecoeur on food. It has a nice village feel with bakeries and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is full of character and very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly and the basement breakfast room with drinks and pastries available all day was a nice touch. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there were many cafe around and the price seemed a little steep. One thing we would have liked would have been a fan or air conditioning unit as it was very hot in the room.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location, fantastic staff. Great value for money, clean ...could not ask for more. Situated between Sacre Coeur and busy Monmatre night life, a perfect location to explore Paris. Being close to the Metro was also great as not too far to walk after a long day exploring. Some lovely cafés and restaurants nearby so never far to go. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a view of the Eiffel Tower and are not on the Main Street. If you prefer total quiet...

It is a small and cozy hotel comprises 4 floors, is clean and well maintained.we were on the 4th floor & had a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our room window. Elevator. The hotel exudes the situation in Montmartre according to an artistic flair and is furnished with great attention to detail. Position is for a short Paris - Trip was really great, Sacre Coeur, Pigalle, Moulin Rouge walk just a few meters away. The metro is 100 meters away. Staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous. English is not a problem. Rooms are cleaned daily. Check-In time 1500 hrs & Check-out until 11.00 clock, luggage can be parked. The rooms are cozy and clean in a relatively quiet area (side street). Would definitely recommend to all.
