The place is trying to represent as close is possible the workshop of the Romanian sculptor C. Brancusi. Really easy to find, 200m from subway 30m away from the Center Pompidou and free of charge. The exhibition is only open in the afternoon.

Along sculptures of Rodin, Michelangelo , the romanian Brancusi's work is incredible creative and profound . Madmoiselle Pogany, Bird, Endless coloumn and other many are impressive and touching by elegance , sense and avangardism. An unique example of brilliant and astonishing art creation .

Brancusi stipulated in his will that all his works were to be left to the state but they were to be displayed as they had been during his lifetime and the city of Paris have done a very good job in carrying out his wishes in this small but beautiful museum. All his tools are displayed as if in his workshop . Interesting information boards in French and English.
The only downside of this tiny place is that there are a lot of students in there practicing there drawing skills
If you have the time this is an excellent way to while away an hour . It is right outside the Pompidou Centre and IT IS FREE!

I have always l loved his sculpture & he has influenced so many others. But to find this tiny gem of a museum dedicated to him beside the Pompidou Center is a truly inspiring glimpse into this artists work & life.
And it's Free!
I have been many times, & just pop in during a walk with friends visiting Paris.
It's always a treat!
