“Fantastic Way to See Paris Highlights In a Short Time”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

We took an "on your own" shore excursion from our cruise ship docked in Le Havre to Paris. Because of the fairly long drive each way, we only had about five hours to spend in Paris. We heard about Batobus on the Internet. Batobus operates hop-on hop-off bus trips but also operates hop-on hop-off boat rides on the Seine. Our "must see" places in Paris were the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre, Champs Elysees and Arc De Triomphe. Our coach dropped us off near Champs Elysees so we could see that and the Arc De Triomphe right away. The Batobus boats make eight stops along the Seine three of which were our other three must sees.
You can purchase passes for 16 euros at any of the stops and the boats leave about every 15 minutes. The view from the boat was spectacular. The river is an extremely busy place, but all the traffic flows smoothly. We left the boat at the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre and had plenty of time to visit each of the sites (though we didn't go up the Eiffel Tower or enter the Louvre). So in a short time we were able to get up close and personal with all of our priorities. This never would have been the case with any other mode.
Thanks to Batobus we accomplished our goal and we got to see a lot of other scenery from a unique vantage point.
We highly recommend Batobus boats if you want to see a lot of Paris in a short time. Heck, even if you have a couple of days, Batobus boats are a great option as you can get two-day passes.

“Nice way to sightsee”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

We were after a ride on the famous bateaux mouches and ended up chosing this option instead. The concept is similar, except that the viewing area isn't the same. If you want the experience of sitting on the boat upper deck and take in all the sights, then look for the traditional bateaux mouches. But, if you want to ride on the river, and still see the major landmarks, then this is worth it. What I also liked is that you can get off, visit a particular landmark, and then go catch another boat to the next destination. That was pretty neat. Not a bad ride for a decent price. Enjoy!

“Floating terrarium”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

We have a boat and love the water so this was must, but I'm glad that we got it for free with the 3 day pass from L'Open Tour. It was crowded and hot even though it was overcast and about 20º (70). The windows are dirty and there are decals that show the route that are right where you want to look out. There is a small deck at the back that you want to head straight to for the air and a better view.

“Wonderful way to see Paris!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

This is a very nice and easy way to see Paris. The boat itself was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful. The boat stops at all the right places and the prices were reasonable.

“Easy way to get around”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

when your feet get tired. If you are in a hurry... then no this is not for you. this is a boat ride with from between 5 to 20 minutes between locations... whole loop is about 90 minutes. But it is easy to find the stops and was a very nice way to get between famous landmarks. I found the price of the two day to be very reasonable for us and feel we got our money worth from this. We did not buy our tickets in advance but just at one of the stops where they had a window.
