“Great way to get around with kids.”

My 12 year old and I used the Batobus to get all around. It was a nice break for tired feet between stops and easy to use. Almost no waiting between boats.

“A great way to explore the Seine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

The Batobus is lovely relaxing way to visit the attractions along the Seine, it's a hop on hop off service. A day ticket cost 16 euros or 18 for two days, while this is more expensive than getting around on the Metro it's much more direct without having to make lots of changes, and of course great views. We never seemed to wait very long for one to come along and the staff are very helpful especially waiting for young families or the elderly. The boat travels anti clockwise calling at about 4 stops on each side and roughly 10 minutes between each stop. If your attraction is on the other side there is always a convenient bridge to cross over.

“Best way to see attractions near the Seine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

Initially, a little hard to find but well worth the effort. This is a water taxi (medium sized ferry) that you can catch very easily as it runs about every 15 mins and makes stops at 8 spots along the Seine, all of the locations near major attractions. One price and hop on/off for period paid (we did 2 days which is only a couple euros more than a single day.)

Stand outside on the bow deck for great photo opportunities.

Runs until 9:30 pm.

“Fantastic Way to See Paris Highlights In a Short Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

We took an "on your own" shore excursion from our cruise ship docked in Le Havre to Paris. Because of the fairly long drive each way, we only had about five hours to spend in Paris. We heard about Batobus on the Internet. Batobus operates hop-on hop-off bus trips but also operates hop-on hop-off boat rides on the Seine. Our "must see" places in Paris were the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre, Champs Elysees and Arc De Triomphe. Our coach dropped us off near Champs Elysees so we could see that and the Arc De Triomphe right away. The Batobus boats make eight stops along the Seine three of which were our other three must sees.
You can purchase passes for 16 euros at any of the stops and the boats leave about every 15 minutes. The view from the boat was spectacular. The river is an extremely busy place, but all the traffic flows smoothly. We left the boat at the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre and had plenty of time to visit each of the sites (though we didn't go up the Eiffel Tower or enter the Louvre). So in a short time we were able to get up close and personal with all of our priorities. This never would have been the case with any other mode.
Thanks to Batobus we accomplished our goal and we got to see a lot of other scenery from a unique vantage point.
We highly recommend Batobus boats if you want to see a lot of Paris in a short time. Heck, even if you have a couple of days, Batobus boats are a great option as you can get two-day passes.

“Nice way to sightsee”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

We were after a ride on the famous bateaux mouches and ended up chosing this option instead. The concept is similar, except that the viewing area isn't the same. If you want the experience of sitting on the boat upper deck and take in all the sights, then look for the traditional bateaux mouches. But, if you want to ride on the river, and still see the major landmarks, then this is worth it. What I also liked is that you can get off, visit a particular landmark, and then go catch another boat to the next destination. That was pretty neat. Not a bad ride for a decent price. Enjoy!
