I arrived at the hotel mid Afternoon after a long train ride from Brussell. I was greeted at the reception area from a friendly voice. I got to choose the 2nd or 5th floor view. I jumped at the 5th floor for the view. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The heater system was very different, a standing metal that let out a bit of heat need improvements. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. Overall the location was great because, the Metro train was across the street and that was good for travelling cheap.

Spent 5 nights in this hotel over New Year 2013. Hotel is efficient, clean and modern with comfortable beds and fantastic shower which is welcome after long sight seeing days. We upgraded to the deluxe room which was definitely worth the extra space as the rooms are not big - but you're in the middle of Paris and don't spend any time in them. Location was fantastic - 2 mins walk from nearest metro and 5 mins walk to station from where you can catch metro or train anywhere. We went out to Versailles, Sacre Cour and covered all of Paris from there. Also 5 mins walk from River Seine, about 20 mins walk from Notre Dame but we just hopped on the metro. Very reasonable price, especially over New Years Eve. Would recommend to anyone who wants a chic, modern hotel in a great location

Room Tip: Upgrade if you can for the extra space

On the whole, this hotel is ok. It is clean and modern and near shops, metro, bakeries, etc. but that's about it. Our 'double-room' was tiny and cramped. The room smelled of smoke even though all rooms are non-smoking. My guess is that the smoke comes through the aircon somehow. The bathroom is tiny and freezing cold because there is no heater in it, only a towel- heater. The 'service' is non-existent and the concierge un- friendly and there isn't any atmosphere because of this. Also don't be fooled by the 'conveniently-situated' comments. If you want to go to the city to do the sights, it means getting the metro and / or RER. Not a problem in theory but this is Paris and, like London, delays, cancellations, etc are the norm. It took us 1 hour to get back from the Eiffel Tower today because Line 6 wasn't operating. I guess it depends where you want to go but it's quite far from the major sights in my view. To sum up: fine for somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights but if you want more from a hotel stay more central.

I spent one night in this hotel for a work trip. The hotel is clean and efficient - nothing fancy but recently decorated with modern design, and comfortable beds. There was a little noise from the street outside, but the double glazing did a good job at keeping it at bay and my sleep wasn't disturbed. There is free wi-fi included and while it wasn't very fast it was perfectly adequate for dealing with email and checking web pages.

The location was extremely convenient for me as my meeting was very close. I was able to travel there directly on the metro from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord, and it is just 100m from the St Marcel metro station. The price was reasonable and I will certainly stay there again.

There were two problems:
1) I was there during a very cold spell (down to -10 C) and while the room was warm the bathroom was on the cold side. I don't think this would be a problem in normal conditions.
2) The breakfast cost extra but was rather limited, and the milk was off. It was replaced immediately when I pointed this out but I wasn't inclined to try it again! In future I will just have breakfast at a nearby cafe.

Perfect clean small quiet rooms with nice shower. Decor all nice. tasteful and very new. The lift was very helpful as my wife is limping at the moment. A taxi to Austerlitz station can be a problem after 07:00 as it is too close. Easy walk if your luggage has enough wheels. Last not least, the price was most reasonable. Will stay again, maybe longer.

Room Tip: 102 first floor front was fine. Heard only the loudest motorbikes. Have not a clue but I imagine all...

Nice little hotel - quite affordable for a totally refurnished and refurbished place - rooms are quite small but this is the same for most hotels in Paris - complementary breakfast is fine, despite the fact that it is located in the basement but they made an effort to make the place comfortable and lightly.
Overall, this is excellent value for money in Paris! There is a terrific restaurant nearby (just one or two streets upper) "Les Variations" with some familial "cuisine du sud-ouest": definitively a must-go!
