My husband and I, along with 2 good friends stayed at the Lyric Hotel for 7 nights. We had 3 rooms and all of them were wonderful...clean, modern, nice bed linens and towels, and many amenities. The hotel was completely renovated, and though the frosted glass door to the bathroom looked worrisome, it was surprisingly very private. The rooms were very quiet and the location was quiet as well, and yet it was close to the metro, good restaurants, and walking distance to many sights. The rooms are on the small side, but not as small as some other Paris hotels. We all had plenty of room for our luggage and to move about. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I can think of is that the free WI-FI was sometimes sketchy and hard to connect to it, but this is a minor complaint. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again on a return trip to Paris.

Dear guest,

We are very thankful for your very nice and detailed review about your stay. It is extremely plaisant to know that all of you four enjoyed your stay in our establishement, because we make our best for the comfort of our guests.

Indeed, our rooms are a little bit bigger than the average rooms in Paris. Also, we are great located in Paris, close to many of the most touristic spots of our city.

Concerning the wifi, we are working on to improve the connection.

We hope to see you soon again with us.

Kind regards,
Audrey Schermann,
Lyric Hotel Manager

Nice, little hotel in the middle of everything. Several metro stations near by. Our four year old daughter loved the little pool in the spa. The beds are big and soft, and the rooms clean and Nice. We really enjoyed our stay in Paris!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our ten-year anniversary, which we booked through a deal with Travelzoo at a cost of 149 euro’s a night (including full breakfast).

The rooms are on the small side – but they are fine and larger than average for Paris. Ours had a very comfy queen size bed plus an excellent HD TV. There was also a good coffee-making machine and the capsules were replenished when the room was cleaned each day (although we had to ask for milk).

The room was very clean, in fact so was the whole hotel with a modern feel and its music theme throughout.

We also found our room quiet – the side road the hotel is on is a fairly quiet street with many Japanese/Chinese restaurants to the immediate south (Rue Sainte-Anne) and more traditional restaurants to the immediate north (Bd des Italiens).

In fact it’s in a great location being about 10/15 minutes walk to the Louvre, about 1 minute to the nearest metro station and 3/5 minutes to the Opera. This area includes the Galeries Lafayette Department store – with its amazing view of Paris from the top and impressive central dome. Many of the open top bus tours stop around this area too (although we didn’t use them).

Although there’s no bath the shower was excellent (love the small LED lights in the wall!). It features one of those modern “bowl” sinks that are good to look at although not always practical. The bathroom is also not in a separate room but separated by frosted glass. This wasn’t a problem for us but it makes the bathroom not particularly private.

The breakfast Buffet was good with plenty of the expected choices of good quality. They sometimes struggled with making everything available everyday. One day there was no fresh fruit, and another day there was no toast, however this was the exception.

The breakfast room was again slightly on the small side and some tables seemed close to others when it was full. On the first morning they struggled to keep on top of cleaning the tables and getting more food out (this was a bank holiday Monday morning) but this was a one off and the rest of the time they were on top of it.

The staff on Reception was very helpful during the day – for example they explained in depth to us about the metro. This was not always the case at night however, when we asked for more coffee capsules at about 11pm we were told it wasn’t possible. Most of the staff also spoke pretty good English and we found everyone friendly and helpful.

They also kept our cases after our check out time of 12 mid-day as we had a late flight home and we always felt they were safe.

We also found the Wi-Fi to be good with a strong signal (we were on the 2nd floor). They also have a small swimming pool, which looked nice enough although we didn’t use it.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back to stop there again.

Dear guest,

Thank you very much for the time you took for this comment which is particularly complete. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the hotel and the area. We are making our best for the comfort of our guests.

We understand that the frosted glass of the bathroom may seem not very private but it is more an impression, as the privacy is mainly kept.

Thank you for letting us know about the little inconvinience you had during breakfast. Our orders are now adapted to the occupancy. And the service is now more efficient.
I regret that you could not have more coffee capsules around 11pm, we refill the capsules once a day each afternoon as you can have coffee everyday.

I hope that at your next visit you will try the swiming pool.
We would be looking forward to welcome you again.

Sincerely yours,
A. Schermann,
Lyric Hotel Manager

We really enjoyed our stay at this new, clean, and whimsically decorated hotel. We had a very spacious junior suite (room 204). Breakfast was included and we had it delivered daily--delicious and copious with a variety of foods, including scrambled eggs. Modern decor with nice touches relating to music, plays, sheers with ballerinas, etc... Will definitely stay again. Walking distance to the Louvre, Madeleine, Champs Elysées, etc. WIFI was free and we had no connectivity issues from our second floor room. It was quiet (though we also use a white noise machine).

the hotel is extremely clean and furnitures are new and rooms and commun areas are decorated with fine taste .
The staff is extremely helpful and polite from receptionist to room service and especially the two woman working in the breakfast ,both of them are extremely kind .Breakfast in this 4 stars hotel is great and you can't expect more and it is what we usually find in many 5 stars hotels for breakfast !
The hotel is 10 mns walking distance from les grands magasins area ,Lafayette etc and not far from charming Montmartre .And Gramont Area (where the hotel is located ) is full with asian restaurants and international restaurants and cafés.
Our experience in this hotel was great and we recommand it .

Room Tip: i dont have informations regarding other rooms but our room was quiet
