Stayed at the Lyric for 6 nights last week. Brand new hotel, very clean and bright, smallish rooms (as most rooms in Paris are), super confy beds and nice modern bathrooms. The thick windows cancel out pretty much all the noise coming from the street, and we did not hear any of our neighbor's conversations, although we did hear some noise coming from the other rooms. Rooms were hot (even though the room temperature never went below 24 degrees at night, they had not started the a/c yet) which was not particularly enjoyable. Did not care much for the breakfast - not a lot of choice - or for the pool, which was very tiny, but overall it is a very nice hotel. We did benefit from a lower hotel rate, probably because the hotel is new and they are trying to attract new customers. Not sure I would have been so enthousiastic had I paid the full rate.
I do have one big issue with the hotel, but it is surely a temporary one: although I specifically asked before booking and I was then told that all construction work was finished, we were awaken the first three mornings by loud noises of repair work being done just outside our room. The work started after 9am, which was very reasonable, but we were hoping to sleep in and were not enjoying those very loud noises coming from the 5th and 6th floors. However, when I mentioned this issue to the manager, she was very helpful and responsive to my concerns: she suggested we switch rooms and offered us a 3rd floor room (where we still heard the noise but not as loud). She also mentioned that the workers would not be working 2 out of our 3 remaining nights we would be there (holiday and week-end), and asked the workers to start at 11am on the one remaining morning we would be there. So even though I was upset with the work being done, the manager's response saved the fourth star I am giving this hotel.

Dear guest,

Thank you for your very nice and detailed review on TripAdvisor. We are thankful for your four stars notation and also glad to know that you enjoyed your stay with us after all.

Please, accept our apologies for the repair work noise. As you said, we actually did finish the construction work at the hotel but, temporary, we had repair work to do because of some issues we had with several rooms. We are really sorry that you had to endure those inconveniences.

Also, thank you for your comment about the breakfast. We are already working on to improve it.
About our inside swimming pool, which is 8X3.5 m, the size is quite respectable for Paris Center , consedering other hotel’s swimming pool. But for sure we agree that it is not a very big one, still you can swim for real in it.

We are looking foward to welcome you again.

Sincerely yours,
Lyric Hotel Team

The Lyric is very nice, design, modern and original hotel.
Good location. Top quality furniture and well decorated.
Top design bathroom. Special award to the comfortable bed.

They just have to improve the pool temperature.

Room Tip: Our room had double glazed so quiet enough. Be careful with the shower room because it's almost open (like implemented in the room).

Dear guest,

Thank you very much for your nice comment on TripAdvisor. We are glad to hear that you liked your stay at the Lyric Hotel.

Concerning the pool temperature, did you find it too hot or too cool? We have to inform you that it is not our decision, we have to follow the law for this, which is that we have to maintain the temperature at 27°C.

We will be joyful to welcome you again.

Sincerely yours,
Lyric Hotel Team

Very pleasant staff - they speak most languages and are very helpful. The hotel is in a lovely area and close to the galeries lafayette shopping area. Loads of restaurants and café's to choose from- a true delight! The hotel is different- lots of lighting and gadgets but not always practical. Design is important in this hotel. Breakfast was ok, pool area (not yet finished) but can be used, and a great sauna and steam cabine. A bar would compliment the hotel- however with so many café's close by- is it really necesary?

Dear guest,

First of all, we want to thank you for your nice review about your stay in our establishment. We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us.

Indeed, our location is great, next to the most famous touristic attractions of Paris. Like the Opéra Garnier, the Louvre, the Champs Elysées and more. There are a lot of shops, bars and cafés. We are also close to the Galerie Lafayette and Le Printemps.

The pool area is finish but for now we are making some repair works in the gym area. We hope it would be finish soon to let our guests enjoy it.

Concerning the bar, we are still working on. We agree that there are lot of cafés and bars around, but we want to offer to our guests a nice area to relax after a long day.

We are looking foward to welcome you again.

Best regards,
Lyric Hotel Team

We stayed at thr Lyric hotel for 2 nights during a romantic Paris weekend. I had read good reviews on Tripadvisor prior to booking and it did not disappoint! We were very kindly upgraded to an Executive Room without the receptionist even mentioning it. The room was big, especially by Parisian standards, perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. One of the few hotels i've stayed at where the pictures actually look like the rooms! We didn't make use of the spa, pool or fitness room, but its nice that its there.
Our room rate, which was €160 per night - a significant discount from their regular prices - included breakfast for two, but at €16 per person otherwise i would have skipped it. It was okay, but not worth €16. My only other point of concern was the temperature in our room. Upon arrival it was 24 degrees celcius making it hot and stuffy. During our two nights i couldn't get it to cool down either. The AC unit only had options for "fan" and "heat", but no "cool" oddly enough. I should've asked at the front desk, so its my own fault and points deduction. I'd return without hesitation. For a great location to explore Paris from i couldn't imagine a better hotel for the money!

The owners have achieved quite a tour-de-force: offering an affordable 4**** accommodation option in central Paris, very conveniently located (Opera is a major subway/RER/Bus hub), where one feels very much at-ease - very helpful staff, nice bedrooms, delicious breakfast, free WiFi, lots of light in the rooms, etc. This hotel is perfectly optimized: the small but very convenient swimming-pool (a luxury in Paris), sauna, gym facility, etc. A little, gem centrally located, I felt sorry I had to leave the Lyric for the airport! Congratulations to the owners, staff, architects.
