I've stayed at a few hotels in Paris and it is like London - hit and miss.I chose this place based on Tripadvisor comments and was not disappointed. It is in an excellent location and although a little dated in the interior rooms, is extremely clean and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. I had a problem with the A/C as it was set to warm (but it was in the 80's outside), which the night porter could not remedy. The day porter could and switched the A/C back to summer for the room - perfect !. The rest of the staff were attentive and helpful, and the breakfast was great based on what is usually offered in a Paris hotel. All in all a great place and will definitely stay there again.

Picking a hotel in Paris, which has thousands of them, on every street in every arrondissement, is never an easy proposition. So you do as much tripadvisor and web research as you can, and hope for a little luck.
C'est belle with the Hotel des Trois Gares. It's a little property on a relatively bland (for Paris anyway) little rue called Jules Cesar, right at the corner of Boulevard de la Bastille. The nondescript entrance gives way to a bright, pleasant, attractive little lobby with the front desk, a seating/lounging area and a small breakfast room. The woman at the front-desk (I wish I remembered her name) was incredibly pleasant.
The small elevator (on which you open the door yourself) was charming, and somehow me and my 25-inch rolling bag squeezed onto it. My single room was small but not claustrophobic, and the bed was larger than usual for a moderately priced Paris hotel. It featured a small safe (too small for a laptop), adequate closet space and a wall-mounted flat-screen television with a good selection of channels, most in French, of course. The bathroom was also a decent size, though the shower stall was tight.
I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel -- it wasn't included in the room rate and this is PARIS -- there are cafes every three feet. Prix fixe petit dejeuners with coffee, croissants and french bread for 7 euros were literally everywhere. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.
Hotel des Trois Gares is located about a five-minute walk from Place de la Bastille. This was my first time staying on the east side of Paris, and I enjoyed it immensely.
The short street where the hotel is located is very quiet and not very interesting, save for the Thai restaurant at the end of it. The nearby commercial streets such as Rue de Lyon feature the usual Parisian mix of little markets, banks, boulangeries, cafes, shops and brasseries. Every time you encounter a new area of Paris, it's like falling in love all over again.
And the area around the Place de la Bastille is a major nightlife district, with plenty of bars, clubs, restaurants, fast-food joints, late-night stores and so on. And it is PACKED with party people every night. There are plenty of fine spots for dinner nearby.
The Bastille metro station -- a big, busy one with access to lines 1,5 and 8 -- is right under Place de la Bastille (a 5 minute walk from the hotel), allowing for easy access to the rest of the City of Light. Gare de Lyon is about a 10-minute walk.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the back courtyard are very quiet.

The pros:
Good location, fair-sized room, OK price, rather quiet area, nice staff.

The cons:
Several bites on one of us two could witness about lice?! But not sure.
A bit far from public transportation.

Room Tip: Be nice to the staff and they'll choose a good room for you.

This hotel is in a great location between Gare de Lyon and Place de La Bastille. Rooms are small but quiet, clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Room has a safe and hairdryer. Our room came with a shower - which was really a wet room - but made good use of the small space. Towels were changed as often as we wished. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location, close to Metro, with lots of small cafes and bigger restaurants all within a short walk. Would stay there again.

This little hotel is very good choice for your travels to Paris - both, small business or holidays. Great location next to Port of Arsenal, only few minutes walk from Place de la Bastille (where you can find all what you need - shops, restaurant, cafés, great bars/pubs, metro, vélolib stations (city bike rentals) etc.
Small, but comfortable and clean rooms (maybe you have to find right time for booking - sometimes the price is a bit overrated - 85 EUR per night could be OK... (but more would be maybe too much...).
I have spent in the hotel 7 days and everything was ok, including wery good wifi connection (and allways the same thing as in all the hotels in Paris - breakfast is better anywhere in the city than in the hotel... :)

Hotel des Trois Gares is a small privately owned hotel well located near Place de la Bastille and the Bastille Metro stop. Almost everything you would want to see in Paris is within walking distance, or a short Metro ride away if your legs get tired. The rooms are typically small but very clean, bright, well decorated and comfortable. A nice light breakfast is available in the lobby for a small additional charge. The owners and staff are all friendly and accommodating. My husband and I have stayed there during two trips to Paris and will return for future visits.

This little hotel is not luxurious but I found it very clean, conveniently located only few minutes from the Metro: if one is a keen walker then one can get pretty much everywhere from here as its location is central, close to the Louvre, Gare de Lyon, Notre Dame etc. From here I even strolled to Les Catacombes getting a chance to take in the scenery. The hotel room was basic but comfortable & also very quite at night, the bathroom was small but very clean. There is free Wi-Fi available for guests and the receptionist was a lovely lady who spoke reasonable english and was very friendly & helpful. If all you need is a base to explore Paris then this little hotel does the job...anyway, who would want to stay in a hotel room in a city like Paris ?!

Room Tip: there are rooms facing an inner courtyard...very quite, ideal for getting a good sleep.
