Let me begin this by saying we didnt pay a lot for the room, something like £65 per night including breakfast. With that in mind I wasnt too disappointed. Like other reviews say, the rooms are small but clean, the corridors are tight and dimly lit, the lifts are ridiculously small.
Its only 2 mins walk to the river and the elevated metro station/track is right outside, which is convenient for getting there but also a bit of an eyesore.
The area is fine, not the nicest, but far from feeling dangerous etc. Not much in the way of restaurants nearby, more likely to find a subway.
Reception staff were friendly and spoke good english, I dont really expect much from reception staff like others seem to do didnt encounter any problems.
Breakfast was okay, if a little limited. They also have a cat that hangs out in the hotel, which is a plus for some and likewise a negative for others.
Overall, if you can get a cheapish room then this place is fine for short stays, its clean and tidy and its location is good.More
