This is more like an apartment than a hotel. Sensational location close to several metro stops but plenty of attractions, shops and cafes in walking distance. great staff on the front desk - we arrived at 7am after long haul flight hoping to leave our bags there, but we were allowed to check in early. Very helpful and speak English. Tiny rooms and not cheap, but it is Paris. Recently renovated. And it has the world's smallest elevator - hilarious.

Room Tip: Try ahd get a room on a lower level to avoid using the lift

This little hotel is brilliant! Right in the heart of Saint Germain de pres.. 10 mins walk from Notre Dame. Lovely little cafe's and restaurants within walking distance, just simply the perfect place to stay without breaking the bank. Rooms are clean, nicely decortated, simple but nice. Nice clean modern bathroom. Rooms are on the small side but when your in Paris you wont be in your room for long anyway. Nice friendly reception staff. Lift is very small but very fun to use. This place is perfectly located for central Paris and will be returning in the near future!

The Villa des Princes is a small lovingly decorated hotel close to l'Odeon in Paris. The rooms are just large enough with stylish en-suite bathrooms, flat screen T.Vs and if you're in one of the front facing rooms, great Parisian street views.
We opted for the breakfast which at 10 Euros each was a good start to the day, my only criticism being that a selection of fruit would also be a welcome addition.
All the staff we're charming, friendly and keen to help, making the hotel and ideal choice in this charming quartier.

Its a beautifull hotel, the bedrooms are no so big (in fact, are small), but are very clean and good decorated. Its located in the Latin Quartier, close to the subway station "Odeon". I recomend it for couples, as its a quite and romantic place (not for kids or young people). The only problem that i found is that the elevator is really small (actually is hardly enought for two persons without lugage, but is not a big deal). I didn't take breackfast in the hotel, so i dont have comments on this respect. Hope to help someone, Roman - Rosario - Argentina.

Hotel in convenient location and is quiet as its off the main tourist route. We were introduced to the "smallest lift in the world" which as others noted is not one for those who travel with large luggage or are larger than a supermodel in dress size! However, it works and is very welcome as there are four floors of rooms. Very small, almost capsule sized bedroom (typical of Paris where space is limited) - we had room 5, comfy bed with soft good quality cotton bedding. There was a fold away table but where would you put the chair which was in the way, so we didnt bother with this. Huge flat screen wall mounted TV with multi channels - all in French. Bathroom well designed, ultra modern with a great walk-in shower. Very nice toiletries replenished daily with the room cleaned to a sparkle daily. As it was 40 degrees outside the airconditioning was very welcome indeed and it was great that it stayed on when we were out during the day which meant coming back to a cool relaxing room. We didnt bother with breakfast at 10 Euros each as there are two local cafe bars in the same street. Restuarant over the road (Monsier Le Prince) closed Mondays, has nice food - excellent fish dishes , good wine selection and good service- and not too expensive for the location.
Secure hotel reception with door entry after midnight and safe storage of bags on check out if you wanted to make use of the last day in this lovely city. Helpful staff who gave us extra pillows and loaned us coffee cups. Not a cheap hotel but Paris is not a cheap city and it is worth the extra to stay centrally and to be safe and comfortable.

Room Tip: Website has 360 degree photos of some rooms.

A really small nice hotel in the very heart of the Latin Quarter. Surrounded by all kinds of Asian cafes, mostly sushi bars. Located in 7 minutes of walking from the Notre Dame and a 1 minute walk from Odeon metropolitan station. There are 3 cinemas nearby.
The hotel itself is tiny - with a tiny elevator, little rooms and corridors. There is no fridge and hairdrier in the apartment, but it's quite clean and cosy. I like the high ceilings which make the space seem bigger. There is no balcony which is a pity because it's a real pleasure to sit with a glass of French wine and enjoy the view on one of the most gorgeous cities in the world...:)

The good things first: Friendly and helpful staff, fresh and clean entrance and room, cool minimalistic design, comfortable bed, free wireless internet, tasty breakfast (not included) and a very nice bathroom shower. Central location only three minutes from the Odeon metro station and walking distance to nice cafes and restaurants. However, there were some drawbacks: A very small and cramped room which took a bit of extra organizing and patience. No fullsized mirror (a tiny, but irritating, detail when you want to try on your new dress before you go out for dinner). Some noise from the streets so earplugs are recommended if you are sensitive to these things. All in all a good place, but we will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Hello,
First Thank You to came at the Villa des Princes.
Some of our rooms have fullysize miror, unfortunatelly not all of them.
We also have double glass windows in all the rooms, so sorry for the noise, but I did my best I change all the windows during works in february 2009.
But next time you can ask for the rooms who are not in the street., if you are sensitive.
Kind Regards
