“well worth seeing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 December 2013

As you walk through the Tuileries Gardens towards the Louvre you will come across a bulding set on a mound. this is the orangerie and amongst other paintings it houses the famous paintings by Claude Monet 'The Water Lilies' which are a series of approximately 250 oil paintings by French Impressionist
The paintings are fixed to the walls and takes up the two complete rooms which are oval in shape, these rooms are a permanent home for eight water lily murals so wherever you stand you are able to view the paintings.
