the rooms are small here and could be a bit cleaner, but the view is nice and the large gourmet grocery in the lower level of the building is awesome. the top floor "la vue" bar has the most impressive view of the Eiffel tower and surroundings. easy walk to most of what you came to paris for. lots of great little eateries around the corner and the bus from the airport picks up and drops off right around the corner as well.

Room Tip: make sure you ask for a queen/king bed....not two singles pushed together!

Clean rooms but extremely tiny and also noisy rooms.Even the double bed on the room is too short.
You must try with difficulty to find a place to put your luggage inside the room.
The location is very good ,many choices for lunch or dinner, next to the Congress of Paris and 15 min walk from Champes de Elysees.
Very nice bar at the 25th floor of the Hotel with spectacular view in Eiffel Tower.
Also the breakfast was good.

Room Tip: If you need to be in Paris.

Thank you for sharing your experience on Tripadvisor.
We are pleased to know that you did appreciate the Eiffel Tower view from the bar La Vue located at the 34th floor of the hotel as well as the proximity with the exciting Champs Elysée avenue. We hope the room dimensions did not hindered the enjoyment of your stay and look forward to welcome you again.

In terms of location and views, the Etoile is great. This also includes the staff who were awesome, even after I mangled French so badly it was tragic. In terms of amenities, the food in the lobby bar was reasonable and tasty. We didn't go for the 24 euro per head breakfast, but in the attached mall you can get good coffee and croissants no problem. If you are desperate for Starbucks, it is there too but you can get much better java all over town. There is also a grocers about 5 minutes away and that was handy for stocking up on water, snacks and 1 litre YOPS!
As far as rooms, if you happen to get a suite below the 9th floor, you are in the 21st century, all else however are a tribute to a bygone era. Lots of brown, blue and red and brass and not quite a 5 star in reality. That all said, go for the location, have a 19 Euro mojito in the lobby and then go explore Paris.

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room. These may be 8th and under.

Thank you for taking the time to write a comment about Hyatt Regency® Paris Etoile. We are delighted to see that our staff is always attentive to our guests.

You tasted the Mojito in the lobby. Next time try the Mojito at the Bar La Vue. The view on Paris is breathtaking. A precision the hotel Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile has 4 stars.

We look forward to welcoming you again and providing you the true Hyatt experience.

We have recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile and although we were able to pick up a special rate, the rooms are quite small - but comfortable. However, we would never pay their normal room rates. We had a room with a view and I guess thats what you really pay for.
Breakfast was Ok but we have had better. Only 2 cerials, 1 coffee machine servicing hundreds of guests and not enough staff. As a consequence, there were long queues at times and you had to wait for things like cerial bowls, milk for the coffee machine - there was no toaster and your cooked breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs or omlette, streaky bacon and fried potatoes.
The bar on the 33rd floor was fabulous, with views of the eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe and the lights of Paris. Spectacular! However, the cost of drinks was extortionate, with juice costing 13 euros, a litre of beer close to 30 euros - but this is the price for magnificant views.
The hotel is soon to be refurbished - it is looking very tired so needs to be, sooner rather than later.
The staff were great, but again, there did not seem to be enough of them looking after so many guests. There is a gym - on 33rd floor, but no swimming pool. Maybe something planned for the future.
We would stay at this hotel again, but only with a special rate.

The location was great near the mall and metro station, which you could access through the hotel. Also, it was 10 minutes walking distance from Champs Elysees. The personnel was very polite and helpful. We had room service every day with clean towels and every 2-3 days clean sheets. Our room, in 16th floor, certainly needed renovation and better soundproofing. The carpet and walls were a little dirty. Breakfast was satisfactory but not good enough for a 4 stars hotel like Hyatt.

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room at the highest possible floor with a view of the Eiffel Tower

We stayed in a room with Eiffel tower view on the renovated floor (18th floor). Like other hotels in Paris, room was small but clean. No complementary water bottles. No cattle for tea or coffee. A bit old fixtures and carpet on the corridor. However, the view of Eiffel tower was fantastic.

We didn't eat inside the hotel as many restaurants around the hotel offered good food at a relatively cheaper price. We also parked our car at an underground parking near the hotel as the parking fee (around 50 Euro) for our entire stay was the same amount for what we would have to pay for one day parking at this hotel.

I like the location as it is connected to the shopping arcade (and metro) as we had little time for shopping. Hugo Boss and Gap were one of our favourites.

I would stay here again in the future.

Room Tip: Pick a room with Eiffel tower view on the renovated floor

We stayed at the Hyatt for 4 nights to start our honeymoon. On arrival we were upgraded to an Eiffel Tower view room - the view was amazing! Some reviews on here say the rooms were old fashioned but we had a modern room which was very clean too. Easy to get to/from on metro and set in a super location! Staff on front desk were helpful. Only negative the bar is ridiculously over priced!
