We were visiting Paris for 4 nights with very low expectations and demands from this hotel (due to its very low price - 78EU per night). Room is indeed tiny with only bed and small table in it. There's also shower in the room which is not present in every room. Shower/toilet room also small but its quite enough. Hotel is surprisingly clean and room was cleaned daily with new sets of towels and bed sheets.Breakfast is very primitive :coffee, baguette and different jams with butter but was fresh and tasty.Hotel is located near main street with lots of restaurants and coffees. 2 metro stations close by.
In conclusion, very good value hotel. Definitely recommended for people who want to travel to Paris and not spend the whole day in hotel.

Stayed here for two nights in may. The room was on the first floor and was great. The room was plenty big enough for the two of us, we were only in there to sleep at night so was all we wanted. Yes if your planning to stay in the room alot then i would surgest another hotel. Was if your just nipping in and out then perfect. Great location, metro 1 min away and plenty of restaurants/shoos in walking distance. Free wi fi a bonus. Shall be back when in paris!!

if you have ever been on a cruise you know how small the rooms are.... this room is smaller. my husband is 6'4 and literally only had room to put lugage on floor and jump over it into the bathrrom which barely had rrom for a toilet and shower. the shower water leaked all over the bathroom like it was a gym bathroom. I was a bit grossed out to sleep on the bed since the sheets and blanket if you could call it that seemed to be from the 1600's. Breakfast wasnt bad. the baggett was good. Its a decent enough budget hotel...better than a hostel I guess.

Stayed for three nights for a short break in Paris which included the Paris Marathon.

Really easy short walk from the metro (hidden up a side street - so very quiet from traffic). Situated in a nice part of Paris with plenty of bars and restaurants away from the tourist attractions. Easy access to the centre (only a mile or so from the start of the marathon too).

Service was good, staff were there if you needed them.

Room was ok, we opted for the en-suite - glad we did as the shower outside the room was tiny. The room itself was very basic but very clean and serviced everyday. The bed was ok, not the most comfortable.

Great value for a couple of days in a lovely city.

The hotel is perfectly situated for a night out in central Paris. Metro is very close by and there's more than enough places to eat and drink around the hotel.

I've stayed in 4 star hotels in Paris and the only major difference would be the price and a lack of TV and iron in the room!

I'd recommend this hotel for budget travellers not expecting bells and whistles any day.

I cycled with my daughter to Pais from Le Havre for Easter. We arrived on Friday and my wife flew out on the Saturday so we had one room on the friday and two rooms on the saturday and sunday at the hotel des Boulevard. This place is central( in the 2nd arondissement) and very close to the Metro (bonne Nouvelle). It is very basic but clean and with friendly staff who allowed us to put our bicycles in trhe cellar. At around 80 euros a night it is less than half the price of the more impersonal Holiday Inn nearby on the main Boulevard. Some rooms have ensuite bath and toilet, others ensuite shower and toilet and some share a landing toilet and shower so prices vary from around Euro 70 to 90 per room. A basic breakfast is also included or tea/coffee/hot chocolat and baguette with jam. All in all this hotel is fantastic value given its location and cleanliness and I would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: No lift so choose a low floor if you dont like stairs.

Hotel is very basic and what you'd expect for the price in Paris. The room, however, was clean and spacious enough for the two of us for three nights. We had an ensuite room with shower, sink and toilet - it's a wet-room with a pull around shower curtain.
Ask for extra pillows from reception - the have a horrendous, hard sausage pillow - didn't sleep well on it at all.
The hotel's location is great with many nice bars and restaurants around, and plenty of shops including a Carrefour on the corner. The metro stops right by it (stop Bonne Nouvelle or St Germain) and it's very convenient. There's a cocktail bar just down on the main street (2min walk) whose happy hour runs from 5pm to midnight - we had a few cocktails there each night (5euros each) as drinks are VERY expensive in Paris.
There is a live-sex 'cinema' a couple of doors from the hotel which looks very seedy but we had no trouble and saw no trouble, and we walked past at all hours day and night; felt safe in the area.

Room Tip: We had room 9 (ensuite) and it was very quiet and had a nice view of the street outside.
