he room and shower facilities are very small, the hotel people are very nice and helpfull, but this hotelroom is good for overnight, only sleeping not to stay there for their comfort, but i have to say everything has his price, if you want bigger room then you have to pay. The Hotel is 5 minutes from Gare de Lyon, i needed this hotel for overstay to go to the airport the next day. I will sleep again

I went there with my girlfriend and we really got what we paid for. Yes, room was a bit small but all we needed is a place to sleep, because we we're out all day. A BIG PLUS is the location, 2 min from Gare de Lyon, Metro station and places to eat and drink. Staff very friendly, one of the guys even helped us very kindly when my girlfriend had to visit hospital in the middle of the night. Will go back there when I visit Paris again. And also wi-fi in rooms worked pretty well!

We had booked a Family room for 3 adults and one child for an overnight stay before catching a train to South Western France. We were met by a surly individual on reception who took payment and pointed to a room just off the lobby. Two double beds meant one adult had to share a bed with a toddler. Not ideal.
No divide between beds meant we would all have to retire at the same time as the child and no bedside lamps meant we couldn't sit and read in bed.
Bathroom was clean and functional but very dated. Beds were clean but no pillows only bolsters so not terribly comfortable. No Air Con and a window opening into an alleyway at the rear meant it was too warm to sleep much.
"Free Wifi" never materialised, we gave up trying to get eye contact or a response from the man on reception.
Close to Gare to Lyon would be convenient but we spent all night being woken by the rumbling of trains beneath us.
We asked for a taxi to be booked to get to Gare D'Austerlitz in the morning (I speak good french) the response, without looking up was "Airport Only".

When we checked out the man on reception completely ignored us and wouldn't even take the key from us so we left it on the desk.

In the morning we decided that the Boulangerie at the end of the street looked a better bet than the hotel and we ate a good breakfast before hailing a cab.

We had originally booked to stay here again on our way home but have cancelled our booking and found a different hotel. There are plenty of much better places to stay for the same price.

Dismal. Grotty. Disappointing.

Perfectly located near Gare de Lyon, Bastille and the Jardin de Plantes. Clean and cheap. It's basic and yes, the rooms - like most of Paris - are small, so don't be surprised! Beds are comfy, staff are helpful, shower works fine and it couldn't be in a better location. Far enough away from the touristy areas to be peaceful but close enough to walk. Recommended
