We were two mature couples staying. There were not 2 double beds as advertised. The main bedroom had a soiled mattress. The 2nd had a foam mattress which filled the floor and no top duvet or sheet. Necessary to walk on this mattress to even get in the room and then no space to put a suitcase or anything else. The photos for the advert showed tidy rooms - the reality was quite different. There was a lot of clutter everywhere, toys, clothes, shoes left on floor - nowhere to hang anything. Fridge and freezer full on arrival, a lot of mouldy fruit on bench and in fridge. Fridge dirty. No clean sheets left to change on departure. Linen supposed to be provided - of 4 towels left, one dirty. Owner did not answer emails about questions - where is iron etc. When we did locate the ironing board, all the clothes stuffed on top fell out. We had to wash all crockery, cutlery and pans before using - not clean. No tea towels, no saucepans, only frying pans and lidless large casserole, dirty linen baskets in bathroom and bedroom piled high. Inadequate small nail on 2nd bed door with mirror hanging which fell off when door closed for first time. Owner has not returned 400 pound deposit, nor communicated. We left apartment cleaner than found. Good location but not for anyone who wants safe environment where you can close door without a mirror falling off and wants a hygienic fridge and kitchen utensils and their deposit back.
