The main reason we booked this apartment was because it has a pool (we have a disabled daughter who loves swimming). Unfortunately, the pool was closed for cleaning for the first 5 days of our 8-night stay (it re-opened on the 6th day), which had a very detrimental effect on our holiday. I contacted the owner to explain the situation. Her response was to apologize and suggest public pools in Paris! I sent three emails asking for a gesture of compensation for essentially not getting what we had paid for (luxury apartment - with swimming pool); the owner would not accept any responsibility for what had happened. In her response to my final email, she even informed me I should have explained beforehand how important the pool was to us! Very poor customer service.
The apartment is the owner's own home. The accommodation is good standard and the pool is nice but the owner appears not to understand the concept of customer service. Through no fault of her own, the apartment was not as described at the point of booking. I believe it was reasonable to ask the owner for a small, partial refund to compensate us but she would not accept any responsibility for what had happened. Very disappointing.

Very nice appartment about 1 km from the Aiffel tower. The owner is very helpful. Clean and well equiped. The pool on the roof is a definite plus.
