We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Villa Paris and would highly recommend it to you.

If you are looking for a unique way to experience Paris, with a "home away from home" feel then this is the accommodation for you. Marie and Alex were wonderful in every way, as prior commentators have stated.

We particularly valued being able to run our day's plans by Marie, obtain suggestions for ground transportation, local (non-touristy) restaurants and shopping areas, and even a Champagne brand.

Also unique to the B&B experience, was the unrestricted use of the kitchen and dining room should you feel like a break from going to restaurants. This was important to us. It also gave us the opportunity to meet other guests - with lots of laughs and shared experiences.

Thank you Marie & Alex for making our trip to Paris special.

Upon our arrival, Marie, our lovely host, settled us in our room then made us some coffee and sat with us helping to plan our stay complete with maps, booklets and details of local restaurants which was appreciated. I loved the style of the room and the building and I found the quality of the fittings and furnishing very high. We were happy with the location as we didn't want to stay in the city centre based on previous city breaks in which we found that accommodation wasn't worth the money charged. We also live in London so wanted a bit of an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life after sight seeing. Easily accessible by a few Metro stations with a short walk. We used the 67 bus which starts outside the B&B and takes you as far as the Moulin Rogue (with great sightseeing along the way). We prepared our own lunch in the kitchen which we could use and made use of the honesty box to buy some yogurts and soft drinks that are kept in the kitchen. We were also able to make our own hot drinks in the kitchen in the evening and store food in the fridge. Marie is a wonderful host and we look forward to returning in the future.

First off use the blue B Line from Gare Du Nord to the Metro stop Cite Universitaire, it's only 15 mins or so from the EuroStar terminus.

We were very happy with the B&B, breakfast was very nice also - thanks for the decent filter coffee Marie!

Room was really nice (Opera) with big shower and comfy bed.

Marie was lovely with great advice, and breakfast was good.

We will stay there again if in Paris and would recommend.

Room Tip: Opera room was fine.

Comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's easy to get to from the airport on the RER B, then a 10-15 min walk. The metro stops are all a 10-15 minute walk from the B&B, which got to be a drag when we were out and about all day long. However, there is a bus stop right across the street for Bus 67 that goes to many of the main Paris sites (Notre Dame, Louvre, Grand Boulevards). It's almost door-door service, and much more pleasant than the metro. For example, it seems sensible to take the metro directly to the opera, but remember you still have a 10 minute walk each way from the B&B to the metro, then you'll ride in a very crowded underground train, switching trains along the way. Instead, you can ride the bus almost from your front door, and enjoy the scenery along the way, to a stop that's a few minutes from the opera. You'll have a little walk from the stop to the Opera, but it's down the Grand Boulevards with "Paris" all around you! My point--use the bus when possible! Alex took wonderful care of us since Marie was out of town, and we really enjoyed her conversation in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. There is a nice little Bistro 13 across the street, and 2 bakeries within a block. Very nice B&B that we'd use again.

Room Tip: No lift, so be sure to discuss any mobility concerns with Marie.

Marie and Alex are the perfect hostesses. They attend to the needs of their guests, while providing an exceptional bed and breakfast! The location is far from the madding crowd, but an easy trip into the main events by bus. Both know everything from shortcuts, to restaurants, to tourist destinations! Wonderful, and I would return again very soon!
