“A Favorite Hotel !”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

We spent 5 nights in Les Jardins de la Villa and absolutely loved this hotel! We were worried that perhaps it was too far from all the action in Paris, but not at all. Access is very easy using the Metro or buses. The hotel is tucked in a residential area, so the restaurants were filled with locals, which is always a great sign! The room was well appointed, small, quiet and just perfect. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the room clean and modern. All the amenities you could need, and a Nespresso machine, which made my day ! The staff was just outstanding .. very helpful and kind. The breakfast is excellent ! A lovely boutique hotel. Next visit to Paris, we will be staying here again!

Room Tip: We asked for a garden view.

This hotel is ideally located close to the centre with parking very close.
The RER and Metro are at 300 meter but the centre is also accessible by foot (30 minutes walk)
Hotel is small and bit 'design' but as the space is limited in centre of town it looks a bit crowdy.
The room was good with the only thing missing was an outside view.
Would do perfectly for 1 or 2 nights

Room Tip: Ask for room with view to the street

My wife and I recently went to Paris to celebrate our anniversary and stayed at this small boutique hotel. We had a lovely experience featured by great service and high comfort. The hotel is located in a quiet street near the Palais des Congress. The location is quite convenient for sightseeing since the Arc de Triomphe is only 10-15 mins walk and there is a metro/train station Porte Maillot nearby. The room was small but very comfortable and recently renovated, it's equipped with a bathtub and a great Nespresso machine. The hotel has nice facilities such as the bar and the sauna. The service and staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, specially the concierge Pierre-Luc and the receptionist Marika who made our anniversary a very special celebration, they helped me to to prepare a very lovely surprise for my wife with rose petals all over the room and a nice bottle of champagne. I highly recommend this hotel for couples.

€230 ( $313) excluding breakfast for a single room in a side street right by Porte Maillot - is Paris really this expensive these days?! I only stayed here because it was close to the office - really, there are much more charming places to lay your head. Whilst the bedroom was acceptably decorated, the rather tired fuschia pink and black paint entrance hall made one feel one was walking into a seedy
1990's club that has seen better days. A fake Big Ben tolls each time the elevator door opens, which is quite frankly just silly. The tv didn't work and the hair dryer over heated. Decent continental breakfast, quiet despite being very close to Porte Maillot, but I would not suggest you seek this place out unless someone else is paying and the other choices on your list are taken.

We stayed for a few days in 2012 and now for a bank holiday weekend, following our engagement. Both times we were very impressed by the hotel, the staff and the service in general. Great location, lovely decor and the breakfast in bed is not to be missed! The staff were the highlight, taking care of anything we asked. Superb.

Really enjoyed our stay at Les Jardins de la Villa. The hotel is very modern and well maintained. The staff was really helpful and friendly despite my lack of French vocabulary. Stephane Fouche took care of us. Liked the honor bar system as well. The gym is fantastic. Didn't expect much from a boutique hotel in Paris, but the equipment was new and in good working order. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

My wife and I stayed at Les Jardins de la Villa in May 2014 for 4 nights. We booked the hotel through American Express Platinum, via their affiliation with SLH. We love SLH hotels.

The hotel upgraded us from a Superior room to a Deluxe room. Our room was just fine. Enough space and all materials of good quality.

The hotel itself is small and efficient. The breakfast is of good quality, wide variety, but limited choice within each category. The hotel – both public parts and the rooms – is kept clean. The staff is extremely friendly.

I liked the fact that we had chocolate waiting for us each and every evening and not just on the first day.

Although the hotel seems far away when you look at the Metro map, it is not, especially as after a 5 minute walk to the Metro station of Port-Maillot (within zone 2), the line takes you directly to the Concorde, the Louvre, Chatelet and Hotel de Ville.

The hotel was great value for money. We shall definitely return.

Room Tip: The Deluxe room is good enough.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Located in a quiet discreet street, a stone’s throw away from the Champs-Elysees and Pal- ais des Congres, Les Jardins de la Villa is the perfect pied-a-terre for your business, shopping or sightseeing trip. Conceived as a large private villa with a decidedly cou- ture air, this elegant 4-star hotel embodies Parisian chic with humour and fantasy. A subtle fusion of secret garden poetry, Art and details evocative of the fashion world, the rooms and suites boast sober or auda- cious colour palettes. Each space is a genuine luxury cocoon where guests will treasure the careful attention to detail. Some open toward blooming ower terraces, others toward the dream-like patio. As soon as spring blossoms, the winter garden’s roof is removed to let sunshine drench the sculp- tural vegetation – another hidden treasure right in the middle of Paris. ... more   less
