The hotel was great, I would say it's a good balance between price and location. It has just everything you need, very basic and rooms are small, nothing extravagant, but its clean and the location is extremely convenient: 2 blocks from the CDG shuttle bus, 1 block from RER and metro stations, 1 block from Lafayette shopping center, etc.

The staff was nice, but not very helpful in terms of answering questions about getting around or tourist information. It can get a little noisy during the night as the rooms give onto the interior court.

Its Paris, it is not know for good cheap accommodation, and this vindicates that. It is cheap by Paris standards so if it is the cheapest you can find, then i recommend you stay their. But if there is a similar priced option in a good location, i would check that one out. Staff are really nice though. Walls are paper thin.

Room Tip: don't get the single room - its awful

Paris is no cheap city. If you aim to just have a simple bed to sleep on , have a clean place, walk kilometers throughout Paris and pay on the low side for a room in Paris, this is your choice. Expectations should be set right, as this is a place for no fuss and nice breakfast dreams. But you will leave just near the Opera and La Fayette galleries, central Paris , easy access to all the must see, plenty of cafes around for a French breakfast . Rooms are not same and some are bette than others. The attic renovated AC rooms. The hotel is being renovated outside.

Stay CLEAR away from this motel!!!!! I know European hotels are small, but SMELLY and AWFUL are not acceptable. The mouse trap in the bathroom was NEON signs of "OMG"!!! PLus we were not informed that hotel is under construction, so the tiny room reeked of toxic strip paint chemicals upon entrance. We had 5 nites reservations, found another hotel nearby and was stuck to stay overnite one nite. ONE OF THE WORSE NITE of our lives.....we just lay down on top of the bedcovers fully clothed. TIP - if a centrally located hotel in Paris is affordable, it's signs that it's a loser hotel. There are no centrally located hotels in Paris under $200. Even the $200 hotels in Paris are "howard Johnson's" type hotels.

Room Tip: NO rooms are decent. I've had conversations with other hotel guests.

Like that it is located just behind the Galleria Lafayette, I could not have ask for any better location. Also like the fact that despite it is not an ensuite room, my room actually came with a shower room. Tiny elevator serves its purpose. At EUR6.50, breakfast was pathetic, as expected. Unless you are looking for convenience, I would recommend for those with budget constraint (like me), to just go to monoprix round the corner to do up own sandwiches, which cost much lesser and adds up the layer of fun to do supermarket shopping in a foreign land. Even sufficient to last till lunch and even dinner.

Positive: Good location, very convenience to get there from airport by Roissy Bus. Internet connection was ok.
Negative: Room was really small and smelly. Lucky it was nice weather so we kept our windows open. But because of that we could not sleep as there was very noisy. Your can perfectly hear all cars passing and late passer-bys.
I expected that hotel would not be our dream one, but it was worse. No phone connection. We asked for wake up call, but they simply forgot about that. So we were upset with service
