“Great Hotel, Great Location”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel during a city break. The room was fantastic; well appointed, decorated really well, beautiful modern bathroom, very comfortable bed and a decent view onto the streets. They definitely earned bonus points by putting a bluetooth Bose speaker in the room so I could play music from my phone! The service was great... For example, they lent us an umbrella one day as they told us it was forecast to rain (it's the little things that count!). The location was perfect for us; a 2 minute walk from the RER/Metro station (RER goes direct to the airport), near all the central touristy places (e.g. 10 minute walk to Notre Dame, 3 minutes from the Pompidou centre), and in a really nice area full of restaurants and cafes.

The only dissapointing area was the breakfast. We ate at the hotel on our last day as we were tight for time to catch our flight home. The breakfast room was way too small for the size of the hotel, and consequently we felt really cramped, although the food itself was fine. We'd recommend going out to one of the many nearby cafes for breakfast instead (which is what we did on all the other days).

All in all, I would definitely recommend the Hotel for any couples on a city break.

Overall would recommend this newly overhauled hotel. Good twin room, comfortable, with some space, a couple floors up and overlooking pedestrianised Rue Pierre Lescot. Hear the social and working sounds of Paris below. Serves a good breakfast, and plenty of restaurants around for later. Internet was good. Location not far NE of the east end of the Louvre is very convenient for easy access to the heart of Paris (west and south), and the Marais (east) and also Musee Pompidou (just east), though right now there is some disruption (through 2014?) as the famous les Halles market area undergoes a major refurbishment.

My wife and I had booked an apartment that did not work out. We are in our 60's. Now we are in Paris @ 6 PM looking for a place to stay. We were directed to this hotel. They were just wonderful. They took us in on short notice, they were so very nice to us and so helpful. The story gets better, we were going to move to the apartment after two days and again it did not work out. So at the very last minute the staff made ready a room that they do not normally rent. It too was just as lovely as the first room. All the while the staff treated us delightfully. I would like to make special mention of Marion and Vincent as they are truly wonderful. We will never ever stay anywhere else in Paris!!!!!!!! Thank you again Le Relais des Halles!!

Room Tip: This is a lovely smaller hotel and all the rooms are beautiful.

Stayed for 3 nights! Cool place next to Montorgueil with lotsa bars and restaurants around! 10 min walk to Marais, 2 min to Pompidou! Not very touristic though, more an area for the locals. Next to it is a big construction of a Trade centre that will last til 2016. So, if you mind that, take into account. We didn't, so we loved the place!

A small yet luxurious hotel right in the centre of Les Halles. Less than 5 minutes walk from the RER/Metro Chatelet Les Halles. Comfortable stylish rooms and beds that are just right: high quality bed linens, pillows and quilts. Lovely, welcoming staff who really do take care of you and all your requirements as soon as you arrive. Breakfast advertised as 15 Euro per person; one euro less than the local restaurants literally on the doorstep if you're counting the pennies. Plenty of tea, coffee in the rooms plus snacks and a good selection of wines in a very well stocked mini bar. Free WIFI and Bose speakers in the room. Plenty of good restaurants and bars close by.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to making a return visit to the hotel next Spring.

Room Tip: The Comfort Room was offered as a special deal through bookings.com. I thought it was excellent val...

Lovely small hotel in Central Paris. Our first trip to Paris and we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we came through the door. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful. A great base for our honeymoon. Convenient for the metro and RER and to explore all the sites by foot. Many thanks

Myself and my partner stayed for a long weekend in August. Hotel is small and in a great location for transport links and also for being able to walk to many of the main central attractions. Standard room was very small and a little awkward to use the sink in the bathroom due to the eaves but that is not unexpected in a city centre hotel. Also some nice local bars for nightcaps on the way home. Breakfast room is delightful and the breakfast selection is as expected for a continental breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
